Terms and Conditions

Promo Period:

The promo runs from September 29, 2025, once the promo post is up, and ends on December 31, 2025. 

Eligibility:

1. The Campaign is open to all individuals who:

• Are aged 18 years or older at the time of entry.

• Resides in the Philippines with an active Philippine mobile number.

• Have a registered and active OpenRice account.

• Comply with all OpenRice booking and participation guidelines.

How to Earn Raffle Entries:

1. Participants must download OpenRice and register with their complete information:

• Full Name

• Email Address 

• Contact Number

2. If the participant is already an OpenRice user, they must update and provide the abovementioned personal information on the app. 

3. Participants must register their entry on this Google Form: 

https://bit.ly/OpenRiceHKTripRaffle 

4. Participants must make dining bookings exclusively via the OpenRice platform during the Campaign Period. 

5. Participants must apply this campaign code on the app when booking: HKTICKET

6. For every attended booking, the participant earns one (1) raffle entry. 

   Example: 

• 1 completed booking = 1 raffle entry

• 2 completed bookings = 2 raffle entries

• 3 completed bookings = 3 raffle entries

• And so forth. 

7. Canceled bookings, no-shows, and incomplete bookings are not eligible for raffle entries under any circumstances.

Raffle Draw:

1. OpenRice will conduct the raffle draw on January 7, 2025, 7 calendar days after the end of the Campaign Period, at the OpenRice office in Pasig City, supervised by a DTI representative.

Prize: 

1. Four (4) winners who meet the qualifications and have earned raffle entries will be selected at random to receive:

• One (1) round-trip economy class airline ticket to Hong Kong from Manila, Philippines, and vice versa.

Announcement of Winners:

1. Winners will be publicly announced via Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok posts.

2. The winner will also be notified via email and/or phone using the contact information provided in the participant’s OpenRice account. 

3. OpenRice will then coordinate with the winners to verify their information for flight booking purposes. 

4. Each participant agrees to OpenRice to use their name, image, and/or likeness for promotional purposes without additional compensation, where permitted by law.

Prize Details:

Prize: 

1. One (1) round-trip economy class airline ticket to Hong Kong from Manila, Philippines, and vice versa.

• Winners can only win once. 

• Raffle prize is transferable but cannot be exchanged for or redeemed as cash or other items.

• The prize is transferable, provided that the winner must submit an endorsement letter along with their passport or a valid ID with a signature to OpenRice on or before January 14, 2025.

• The nominated recipient must be able to satisfy the requirements for claiming the prize. 

• The nominated recipient will be deemed the final recipient of the raffle prize once OpenRice has booked and scheduled the flight ticket. 

Prize Validity:

1. The travel period of the trip will be within 6 months after the announcement of the raffle winner. 

Tax and Expenses:

1. The winner is solely responsible for:

• All expenses not explicitly stated as part of the prize (e.g., airport taxes, travel insurance, transportation to and from the airport, meals, accommodations, other valid travel documents, etc.).

• Complying with all health, travel, or immigration regulations in effect at the time of travel.

Prize Claim:

1. Winners can claim their prizes at the OpenRice office in Pasig City, 1605, Philippines (10:00 AM - 6:00 PM, Monday to Friday).

Claim Requirements:

1. Winners must present their valid ID to claim their prize.

2. Winners must present the email and/or text of the official winner notification letter from OpenRice. 

Claim via Authorized Representative:

1. If a winner cannot claim in person, their authorized representative must present:

• Valid ID of the winner

• An authorization letter signed by the winner

Prize Forfeiture:

1. Prizes must be claimed within 60 days from receipt of the registered notice. Unclaimed prizes will be forfeited in favor of OpenRice, with DTI approval.

Disqualification:

1. Employees of OpenRice, affiliates, advertising agencies, merchants, and their relatives up to the second degree of consanguinity or affinity, are disqualified from participating in the promo.

General Conditions

1. By participating in this Campaign, participants agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions.

2. OpenRice reserves the right to verify the eligibility of any participant and to disqualify any participant found to have breached the Terms or to have engaged in fraudulent activity.

3. OpenRice shall not be held responsible for any loss, damage, or injury incurred as a result of participating in this Campaign or from the use of the prize.
