Hubby ran a marathon early that day and my daughter and I were his cheerleaders. He finished in record time and by the time he crossed the finish line, the three of us were all hungry. It was just 7am on a Sunday and what better way to spend it by searching for the elusive Rustic Mornings to have breakfast

After a couple of wrongs turns, we found Rustic Mornings near the San Roque church. It's a bit hard to maneuver inside the street since it's narrow. There was no parking available inside so hubby parked at the gas station across the street and I found us a table at the al fresco dining area. The air conditioned rooms were all occupied but it was okey since the place we were seated had beautiful paintings and vintage bottles decorating the room.

I ordered pancakes for my daughter and I got the bacon, eggs and herbed hash browns. Perfect breakfast trio
My daughter's meal came with brewed coffee which was served right after I ordered. The pancakes arrived and I was a bit disappointed. It looked like what I make at home
Dainty Decors
Wall Full of Paintings
Brewed Coffee
Pancakes
Bacon, Eggs and Herbed Hash Brown
At least my Bacon, Eggs and Hash browns were better. The bacon was slightly thin but really crisp. The eggs I asked to be made sunny side up and it was the first time I was served eggs seasoned with pepper
Delicious and perfect eggs. The hash browns were rich in taste since it had herbs on it. The potatoes were slightly chunky and well seasoned. It was a good breakfast, something I'd like to copy at home

Price: Php 140 for two piece pancakes with home made maple syrup and brewed coffee
Php 220 for Bacon, 2 eggs and herbed hash browns

The surroundings were really relaxing. The restaurant is in a huge spaced garden with beautiful mosaic tiles and the tables and chairs are littered around it. Some of the table settings are elevated on platforms with roofs and arches made from intricate wooden designs. A great place not just to have breakfast but lunch and dinner too. For dinner, best to call and make reservations first
