Mango Float heaven
Getting to this secret restaurant is a bit tricky. But once you're able to cross that large silver gate, it is synonymous to food heaven. Located in a not so popular Isabelo Mendoza Street in Marikina, this garden restaurant will definitely make you utter ooohs and aaahhs, as an expression of awe.

The garden is refreshing in itself with flowers and plants, not to mention mosaic colored floors. The ambiance is so cozy, the staff and the owner will give you a warm welcome so it becomes easy to feel at home.

I have finally found the perfect place for a romantic date without the hassle of going out of town. It's also a good place to hold birthdays, bridal showers, wedding receptions to whatever special occasion there is in your family. A relaxing music is played, but not too loud so that guests could enjoy their casual conversation.

If you're the type who worry much about going outdoors because of mosquitoes, you'd be glad to know that the owner also provides mosquito repellants to make sure that her guests will be comfortable.

Environmentalists will also love the fact that the owner had some recycled items on display such as the shells as wind chimes, different wine bottles provided the lights, empty perfume bottles are also on display by the cupboards. Paintings and other art works are also displayed.

The food were all delicious and nutritious. But I'd like to think the Pinugon Pork Crackling is such a standout because it is crispy and tender at the same time. It comes with four sauces or dips to satisfy your palate. I also love the grilled green vegetable salad because it contains really fresh ingredients, and healthy nuts on it.

The service was efficent, waiters were ready to help and assist at all times. The owner, Ms. Portia Baluyut was such a darling--warm and friendly. She had explain the history of her restaurant and how she's able to maintain it in God's grace and bounty.

Eat here and your stomach will thank you for it.
