It was Halloween and my sister and her family went to SM city Pampanga to shop for Chirstmas decorations. Yes, it is the irony of things. I got up late so I was not able to go with them that morning but she texted me asked me to come to SM Pampanga for a dinner treat. I got dressed and proceeded to SM Pampanga.
I arrived late afternoon and met up with my sister. We were searching for some place we can dine. Apparently, when you're always in a specific mall, you get tired of choosing the place you want to eat. But I gave her an idea of eating in a buffet dinner served in the Annex 2 of SM city Pampanga. This place was actually a common dining spot for my family, but since my mom went to the United States, we aren't able to visit it. I'm pertaining to Partyland Restaurant. It is a restaurant that offers lunch, merienda and dinner buffet for 195, 135 and 155 respectively. Since it was late afternoon, we decided to take the merienda buffet set table of 135 pesos per head.
Given the price, there are only limited choices of food. This includes spaghetti, pork and tofu, pancit palabok, puto, turon, dinuguan, halo-halo, lugaw and palitaw. With the price, It is actually a pretty great meal with pretty great choices. The pancit palabok was still hot and very delicious. Eggs and chicharon is overflowing on the palabok. The turon, though small in size, tasted great. The dinuguan was also great tasting. I also loved their pork and tofu perfectly complimented by the soy sauce with calamansi.
It was truly a satisfying afternoon snack. Even though it is considered afternoon snack, it served as a dinner for me since I ate a whole lot of plates. For me, this the cheapest and money worthy buffet eat-all-you-can I've been to. I'm pretty sure we'll be coming back for more!
