I’ve lived in Bulacan for over 15 years and have always been familiar with the famous local brands in the provinces. Apart from the Baliwag bus Baliwag Bulacan is known, Baliwag Lechon manok is another household moniker that is generally well-known in the province. In SM Baliuag however, the stall of Baliwag Lechon manok in the food court had diversified their menu aside from their famed lechon manok. And living up to its name, these other menus had successfully maintained the repute of its brand. Uriah had crispy pata while Traci got a pork chop. Conscious of her figure, my wife Joy ordered for a grilled tuna belly. Conscious of our budget, I only ordered for some extra rice and shared each of the viand. To complete the fine dining experience, some choir was performing on the stage. It was a great family dinner because of the meal despite of the overcrowded food court. For some reason, these are the simple moments that I cherish most in my life – just me, my wife, my two sons and that Baliwag Lechon Manok meal in the mall.
