Laguna's Famous Porkchop2011-06-28
Right before heading to Enchanted Kingdom for a team building, we grabbed some quick lunch in the nearby and recommended place to have some Pork Chop which is in Atoy's.The place is not that big and not to go to if you're in for some fine dining. It is the typical "Silog" eatery that you can find but ofcourse, it is the porkchop that we're after. It was actually suggested by my friend ,Genalyn's boyfriend who is from Laguna himself.
So we all had this famous porkchop, they serve it like the normal Silog meals. So there's the porkchop, garlic rice and a sunny-side up egg. You can also request if you like scrambled egg instead. The only thing that I didn't like about their porkchop is that its a bit too oily for my taste. But rather than that, the meal is fine for me. It is crispy in the outside, the breading didn't taste like plain flour, they made sure that they spiced it a little bit to give the pork some good impression. The meat that was covered with breading is not taste-less as well. I don't know how they marinate or what they marinate it with but I know that you can also enjoy it. To complete your experience, make sure you have some toyo-mansi ready for dipping."Sulit" for its price Here's some of our photos there.
