Drinks at Wingman
Smile 2013-08-16
A great hangout place in Makati is Wingman. There is no wonder why they are going to be opening 3 new branches very soon. Their food is good, the service is stunningly awesome and the drinks are to die for.

We stopped by on the way home for a couple of pitchers. Those two drinks really made my day even though I forgot the names. It is alright though as you just have to ask the best sellers from the server.

A frozen margherita is really what makes each lady happy.

Can you say best wings in town? I did.

Fun and Food
Smile 2013-07-04 (Related Review)
We had a blogger event at Wingman and Erik Waldie also hosted a Quiz night. It was fun, fast and furious as we had dinner first then quiz night afterwards.

There were a lot of flavors in the chicken wings and I loved them all except for the spicy ones. We were lucky we had such an awesome host in Erik as he was able to introduce all the food properly.

There was no doubt all of us enjoyed the wings here and I can't wait to come back.

Visiting the Wingman
Smile 2013-06-16

It would not hurt for some liquor drinking to have some fun.

We had a photo opportunity with the owners Erik and Reema as Reema was about to live.

We had some fantastic chicken wings at wingman. I love it when they also have carrots and mayyonaise for the wings. Something was certainly missing so I also ordered some plain rice. Their parmesan chicken wings was so great and I may now have a new favorite.

My visit in Wingman
Smile 2013-02-07

My old friends and I planned for a simple dinner somewhere in Makati.
Ana Christina and David said that they are craving for something hot.
I suggested Wingman chicken.

The chicken wings are very tasty.
The soft tacos cheezy.
The deep Snickers, oh I love it!

They provide plenty of hand towels and plastic gloves.
The staff is very attentive and that's what makes the eating more satisfied.

This honey garlic buffalo wings look so simple yet they are oh so delicious. If you are a fan of buffalo wings and are always on the prowl for the best buffalo wings, this is the answer to your question. Hidden in a corner of The Collective, Wingman serves the best buffalo wings in town. They have over 6 flavors available but you can simply forget about the rest and just focus on the honey garlic.

The honey garlic buffalo wings is simply amazing! It is sweet with a touch of that wonderful garlic flavor and it is crispy and hot. It is a delight. I always eat at least half a dozen when I go here. If you haven't tried it yet, this needs to go on your 100 Food I must Eat before I Die list.

Seriously.

Wingman - home of the hottest chicken wings
Smile 2012-08-01
Wingman, is located in one of the less busy streets in Makati. I was able to try it after a good friend's recommendation.

   Wingman menu

If you are wondering what to order if you are here- definitely....Chicken Wings!

1 dozen wings - lemon pepper and garlic parmesan

Price: 330 pesos, 1 dozen, mixed flavor (choice of 2 )-in the picture, lemon pepper and garlic parmesan

Description: Deep fried chicken wings (a)Lemon pepper- with a zest of lemon and topped with pepper, (b) Garlic Parmesan-wings smothered with parmesan and garlic bits then deep-fried.

Personal review:

The wings are flavorful, but quite oily. It is served with a siding of carrots (sweet, yummy, and healthy!) and a dip of your choice. Overall, I love the combination of chicken wings and carrots.

The wings are served hot. I love the Lemon pepper variety(left side). It has that lemon-juicy flavor, that has a pepper kick in the end. Not spicy though. What I did to make it spicy is to drizzle Tabasco sauce all over it. On the other hand, the Garlic parmesan(right side)-for me is over flavored and oily. There's too much flavor of garlic, that I'm almost not tasting the chicken meat.

Quantity and value for money goes together. Wingman has a very affordable offer. Imagine, 2 people can share a dozen and just order rice to make it a full meal. Two thumbs up!

Recommendations: Prairie, Pinaka flavored chicken wings

Buffalo Wings Madness
Smile 2012-03-29
I love discovering hole-in-the-wall restaurants. How much more a hole-in-the-wall restaurant that offers a great selection of buffalo wings? Right? Well that's Wingman for you.

What's even more great about it is that the place really is your typical gung-ho establishment, especially for times that you want to get down and dirty--and watch manly sport shows on TV too!

For my first trip to Wingman, we ordered two of their wings selections. (If only it was possible to order all!!!)

First up was the classic buffalo wings--spicy, juicy, and tender! Well actually, there's an option to choose what level of spiciness you could take on; we gladly opted for medium and we didn't regret it. At all. It was yummy in every bite! And sure enough the spiciness wasn't overpowering.

   Classic Buffalo Wings

The second one was their Lemon Pepper wings. It was pepper-y alright, but it wasn't juicy as I would have thought it could be. Still, it was a great eat but what's guaranteed was that we attacked the classic buffalo wings like maniacs--it was that good!

   Lemon Pepper Wings

With this, I am more than excited to drop by Wingman again in order to try more of their selections. smile

Smile 2011-11-17
I found another restaurant that serves good and delicious chicken wings. It's the ultimate comfort food for me. They called it Wingman. It was my first time to dine in at this restaurant. If you are craving the best wings, this is your place. When we went here, we ordered Wingman's Buffalo wings and Potato wedges. Their potatoes are really fresh and tasty. Wings has always been my favorite part of the chicken. smile

Wingman- The Collective
Smile 2011-11-08
Finally tried Wingman at the Collective in Makati last Saturday.

You can watch some tv shows from the projected screen on the wall. What a great feature!

We ordered their Buffalo classic wings and Lemon Pepper Wings (P300/ dozen)

I wasn't satisfied with the wings size and flavor wise. The Lemon pepper was too dry and the Buffalo classic was just spiciness all over. The size of the wings were small too.

We also ordered for their Home Run Sliders (P250) which is composed of 3 mini burgers and side of your choice. We got the curly fries.

My personal favorite is the Cowboy Burger and my least favorite was the Wingman Burger.

The Cowboy burger was sweet and the burger patty was juicy too.

The Wingman Burger on the other hand was spicy just like the buffalo classic hot wings. It also has this tangy taste from the spicy buffalo sauce.

The Iron Skillet Queso (P230) was a great dip to go with the crispy nachos served with it. I like the melted cheesiness of the dish with a hint of spice on it.

The Pulled Pork Tacos (P260) was the highlight of our dinner.

The tender pulled pork in chipotle sauce wrapped in soft tortilla was my favorite dish.

It was sweet with a smoked flavor from the pork. Yummy!

I would love to go back and try their other offerings!

I went to "The Collective” in Makati to get inked. While waiting for the artist, my friend and I decided to eat first and we spotted WINGMAN. Everyone loves to eat Buffalo wings. It’s markedly one of the best comfort foods. And WINGMAN is the perfect haven for your buffalo wing cravings.
The star of the place would have to be its chicken wings! We ordered half a dozen GARLIC PARMESAN Chicken Wings and half dozen of ASIAN INVASION. We also ordered FRIES, a basket of hand-cut fries or hand-breaded onion rings. It is fried golden-brown and perfectly seasoned. It is served with their homemade thousand island dipping sauce selections like garlic aioli, hickory barbeque, or buffalo. We also ordered QUESADILLA, crisp cast-iron skilleted flour tortillas loaded with three cheeses, tomatoes and their own pomodoro sauce. Comes with fire roasted salsa and sour cream.
I sooo love WINGMAN! This is now one of my favorite restaurants that offer delicious BUFFALO WINGS in a very reasonable price.

Wingman vs Azkals
Smile 2011-07-05

The Collectives is a place that is actually hidden but has a lot of interesting finds. One of it is a restaurant called Wingman.

The place has a great atmosphere to it, they have this big screen projector and the time we visited the place, the Azkals & Sri Lanka were playing and everyone inside the restaurant were all hooked to the screen and even me who is not really into that sport got caught up with the game and people were cheering and screaming. A pretty different environment from the usual loud music that is played in restaurants.

As for the food we tried out a few of their specialties like:

Iron Skillet Queso which was served with a basket of tortilla chips. Great combination and great with a glass of beer.

We also had Onion Rings which was to die for! loved it to bits, its packed with goodness and really a good pica pica dish.As for boyfriend, he wanted an order all to himself haha and ordered the Wingman Burger and he made a good choice. The patty was soft and melts right in your mouth and had spicy sauce in it that went well with the whole burger, o and yes he had his own serving of Onion RingsThen last and the least, we tried out their Quesadillas, which was our least favorite. It had cheese sauce in it which had an odd taste to it. It came with a sour cream sauce and salsa. The salsa tasted awful, so we ended up eating the Quesadillas with just the sour cream.

Then for drinks we ordered bottomless Lemonade and Iced Tea.

This is a great place to hang out as it serves some of the best pica dishes. Great for a weekend gimik and hang out place to catch up on a game or simply listen and watch music. The dishes ranges from roughly Php150 - Php 250 almost all are good for sharing with two or more people.
