Always a Feast at Aristocrat
Smile 2013-11-28

Whenever I eat at any Aristocrat branch, I know that it's always a feast. Their affordable Filipino Cuisine would make you want to order and try more dishes.

Their classic pork and chicken barbecue are our favorite. This was the first time that I get to try their lumpiang shanghai and pancit. They're just oh so good.

I just also discovered that Aristocrat has a bakeshop (some branches only). I bought the large Cinnamon Roll and the Cream Puffs. They're both really delicious. So perfect for my taste. I now love the Artistocrat Bakeshop.

Pinoy's Best
Smile 2013-10-25
Contrary to popular belief, The Aristocrat caters to everyone. Whether to grab a simple dinner, take the family out on a Sunday or celebrate a special occasion, the restaurant does not disappoint. With its wide selection of dishes, I would recommend you take your foreigner / balikbayan family and friends here.

   Crispy Pata

   Special Crispy Pata Dip

Aside from the restaurant, their in-house bakeshop has delectable selection of baked goodies / desserts.. Their pride and best seller goes by the name "Torta delos Reyes", which is Sans Rival coated with Chocolate Ganache. I also loved their Chocolate Cream Puffs. I wish I have taken more home!

Midnight Dinner At Aristocrat
Smile 2013-10-04 (Related Review)
My cousins and I watched a show at CCP not too long ago and we ended up having midnight dinner at Aristocrat afterwards. Actually, we just plan to have some lite snacks but I don't know why we ordered a lot.

Crispy Pata. I know Aristocrat is famous for the chicken barbeque but crispy pata is crispy pata. And its almost midnight! ;)

Pansit Guisado. This is to pair with the crispy pata.

Chicken Barbeque. Ok, we really can't go to Aristocrat without ordering this. I know everyone know how good the chicken barbeque is at Aristocrat. The best!

Delightful Pica-Pica at Aristocrat
Smile 2013-09-23 (Related Review)
I've always associated Aristocrat with Chicken Barbeque and I can't think of ordering other dishes there except the chicken. And I think almost everybody will agree with me that the restaurant is synonymous with chicken barbeque- no kidding. Then I was introduced to their pica-pica.

Calamares. I love that the squid is tender and not hard to chew. Also, it is not oily. Even without the dip (tartar sauce), it is delicious.

Shrimp Tempura. Another yummy surprise. Honestly, I have this aversion to deep-fried dishes but there's always an exception, like this one. Also, you can actually enjoy eating the tempura because the shrimp is big enough. I mean, there are other restos that serves tempura but when you eat it, there's more batter than shrimp.

Btw, these pica-pica can also be eaten with rice so don't be shy to order a bowl or two. ;)

Ideal Weekend Breakfast at Aristocrat Malate
Smile 2013-09-19
I was invited to the Aristocrat Food Tour last September 8 which was organized by OpenRice.com.

The first stop was breakfast at the Aristocrat San Andres Malate Branch just along the scenic Roxas Boulevard. This restaurant is a historical landmark and brings back memories of childhood days when we strolled along Roxas Boulevard.

It's a great idea to have weekend breakfast here after a jog or a walk with family or friends.

For Filipino breakfast, they have a good selection of All-Native Breakfast meals:

Aling Asiang’s Chicken and Pork Adobo Plate

Aling Asiang’s Chicken and Pork Adobo Plate – P250

Very tasty version of Adobo. I like the pork adobo's tenderness. It's so tender that the meat "melts" in your mouth.

Longanisa and Chicken Pork Adobo Plate

Longanisa and Chicken Pork Adobo Plate – P270

Another option to try if you like Longanisa. Served with 1 pc each of chicken/pork adobo and Aristocrat’s Special Longanisa.

Beef Tapa Plate

   Beef Tapa Plate – P270

I loved this one! Their beef tapa was so tasty and tender.

All-Native Breakfast hearty meals are served with:
- garlic rice
- two fried eggs
- your choice of coffee, hot tea, hot native chocolate, milk or pineapple juice.

I like their Native Hot Chocolate. It's so rich and thick like the chocolate mom prepares for Buena Noche.

Native Chocolate – P60 alone or part of the meal

Garlic Rice - Included with Native Breakfast Meals

However, if you are not in the mood for rice for breakfast, here are some of their All-American Breakfast meals:

Ham Plate

   Ham Plate – P255

Slices of tasty grilled sweet ham for some light and savory breakfast.

Cheese Omelette Plate

   Cheese Omelettes – P145

If you are into omelettes, try this cheese omelette.

Other omelettes available are:
Spanish – P175: Scrambled eggs stuffed with ham, bacon, and sauteed vegetables in tomato
sauce.
Ham and Cheese – P175: Scrambled eggs stuffed with ham and cheese

All American Breakfast meals are served with:
- two fried eggs
- two slices of toasts with butter and mango jam
- fresh banana or papaya and
- your choice of: coffee, hot tea, hot native chocolate, milk or pineapple juice.

   2 slices of toasts w/ butter & mango jam-Included

Aristocrat's breakfast options from native to all American will definitely start your day right. So when you are in Roxas Boulevard for a jog, walk, or just cruising around, drop by with family and friends to enjoy sumptuous breakfast.

A Family Legacy of Good Food
Smile 2013-09-18
The Aristocrat Restaurant has been around for decades as its business has been passed down to its children and grandchildren. Their first and flagship branch is located at 432 San Andres, Malate Manila.

http://static3.ph.orstatic.com/UserPhoto/photopending/0/K6/003ZHT0F3D924AA022BE86c.jpg?1309181710

It was my first time to visit Malate branch and I was amazed that the branch is jam packed even with its enormous restaurant space. Since, it was only 7:30 in the morning I opted to eat one of their breakfats meals. I ordered for an Asyang Adobo with longganisa that comes with an option of hot chocolate or coffee. My sweet tooth decided to try their hot chocolate and oh boy I think I made the right decision. It was really chocolatey, thick and the sweetness is just right to put a smile on your face while sipping it. I am not fond of Adobo so I don't think I can comment on its taste. I love their longannisa, it's succulent, tender and quite sweet.

The relax and homy feeling of the restaurant is a proof that Aristocrat had captured what the Filipino foodies are looking for, food that makes you feel at home. Overall, Aristocrat is a must visit restaurant not just for Filipinos but for people from all walks of life.

Nothing beats the most experienced!
Smile 2013-09-13
Last Sunday, I was invited to this whole day event of open rice called "Eat's a date event with Aristocrat". A group of bloggers, including me, visited a couple of branches of Aristocrat, this includes the branch in Malate,Manila San Pablo Laguna, and their newly open branch in SM Dasmariñas.

Our meeting place was set in Aristocrat,Malate where we also had our breakfast. I feel a pang of excitement seeing Aristocrat and with their new façade. I remember when I was a kid and the stretch of Roxas Blvd. was still a partying place at night I used to have dinner with my family in Aristocrat. And I was so impressed on how customers do come and go by then until now.

 Aristocrat's New Facade

I was supposed to order Beef Tapa for breakfast as usual, but my friend persuade me to try their other best sellers and so I had their Longanisa and Chicken Pork Adobo. It's a combination of 1pc each of chicken/pork adobo and Aristocrat’s Special Longanisa sided with sunny-side-up egg. I paired it with their hot native chocolate drink that complements the salty taste of my main with its sweetness. I must admit that Adobo is one of my favorite Filipino dishes. And there's nothing on its taste that amused me, but its the soft and tender texture that got me.

We headed to Ultimart San Pablo,Laguna where another branch of Aristocrat is located. For lunch, we had Hototai Soup for appetizer which was really scrumptious by the way,and we had the Aristocrat Classics ( Chicken Barbecue, Boneless Chicken Barbecue, Pork Barbecue, Pork Spareribs Barbecue) plus Lumpiang Shanghai for the main.

   Hototai Soup

   Aristocrat's Classic Barbecues

   Aristocrat's Lumpiang Shanghai

What can I say, their barbecue is still the best in town! and it really goes well with their Java rice. They also serve it with their specially packed java sauce, but I like it just the way it is no need for the sauce. It was the first time I have tried their Lumpiang Shanghai, it was equally cooked, the wrapper was not thick as you can taste and fillings at your first bite. Its simultaneously smell of herbs and spices will entice your taste buds that surely will keep you coming back.

will post more of this on my blog! tongue

Breakfast at The Aristocrat Restaurant
Smile 2013-09-13
Of all many restaurants situated along Roxas Boulevard, there is one place out there that's been part of history - it is not the kind of history where "we're going to change the world" theme but a history where our former presidents here in the Philippines like Emilio Aguinaldo, Diosdado Macapagal, first lady Imelda Marcos and etc. would love to dine... The Aristocrat Restaurant!

ROXAS BOULEVARD, MANILA
Doña Engracia Reyes or known as Lola Asyang is the woman behind the restaurant where it started only through merienda at Luneta Park for their family picnic (take note that Luneta Park is for any kind of class before), and later got inspired to put up a business near Manila Bay and has finally settled to Admiral Dui Street and now known the Roxas Boulevard.

The team had the breakfast at 8 AM in a city where the sun makes a wonderful show of rising and setting but the condition of that day is drizzling so the only thing that is sunny is my Bacon Plate served with two slices of toast with butter and mango jam and the only thing that is hot is my Ceylon Black Tea. The Beef Tapa Plate is served with rice and they also serve sandwiches like that of Hamburger served with fries in the picture partnered with Strawberry Shake. The last piece we had is our very own dessert - Bibingka and Putobumbong. It might be pricey but get frenzy with the taste it gives. Most of the taxi drivers suggest the restaurant when foreigners asked a place to stop from their jet lag trip and treat themselves for some chow. See how Aristocrat becomes the arbiter of taste!

I LOVE ARISTOCRAT!
Smile 2013-09-13
Last Sunday, girlfriend and I visited Aristocrat in Roxas Boulevard. Though it was my first time to eat in there, the name is no longer a stranger to my ears. Dad always talk about this restau because he, along with other friends, used to pig out in this famous food establishment during the 60s and 70s. lol

I personally like the tapa because it’s the best tapa I’ve ever tasted.

Overall, the foods they serve are all to die for! Want to indulge yourself with the best-tasting Filipino dishes? Then head to Aristocrat guys, it is simply the best! smile

Nostalgia at Its Best!
Smile 2013-09-13
We were asked to show up at 8 o’clock in the morning at Aristocrat’s flagship store in Roxas Boulevard to have a hearty breakfast. I ordered a hamburger and a glass of strawberry shake for my morning meal. Subsequent to a splendid breakfast, we were lead to the restaurant’s bakeshop, where different types of cakes are displayed. I salivated while lustfully staring at each of the baked goods! Everything was awesome, the food, the ambiance... it all brings me to the old Manila! ♥♥♥ lol

Aristocrat Restaurant
Just OK 2013-09-11
The Aristocrat Restaurant is one of the Philippines’ most popular restaurants. It is a Filipino-owned family corporation that boasts delectable dishes that capture the hearts of food lovers both locally and internationally. Aristocrat Restaurant was once a humble snack mobile that started in 1936; now, it has evolved into a restaurant enterprise with various branches strategically placed in different parts of Metro Manila and nearby provinces.

It is undeniable that Aristocrat has a great influence to the restaurant industry in the Philippines. Since it already has taken the lead, many food establishments are looking up to Aristocrat Restaurant and they usually consider it as their basis in the food business.

I always hear the name of the restaurant but it was only until last weekend when I was able to get a taste of their famous dishes. Thank you to Open Rice Philippines for inviting us in their “Eat’s a Date Event with Aristocrat.”

smileThe Food

Breakfast

I had chicken and pork adobo with scrambled egg as a side dish for breakfast. I also ordered longanisa and hot chocolate as my drink. My morning food for the most part is nothing to rave about. It tasted like a normal breakfast food that can simply be prepared at home. I found nothing spectacular on the way it was prepared and presented. I am not sure with the other food on their breakfast menu. I do not think I can be in the position to give the best judgement to this part as I only had minute portion of what are being offered. Aristocrat has a Filipino and American Breakfast to choose from. The next morning you dine in the said place, let me know your finds ayt?!

The steady stream of customers going through the doors of the Aristocrat restaurant is an obvious testimony that the place is not just an ordinary food chain and that made me excited to unveil the secrets of this prominent restaurant and enjoy the food that made it famous.

Lunch

I found the chicken and pork barbecue a bit dark and a little overcooked, but of them tasted heavenly regardless of the little mishaps in preparation. They went really well with the java rice and Hototai Soup!

I was already done eating but still found a way to grab a bite of lumpiang shanghai and good thing that I did. I wasn’t disappointed as it tasted so great! The wrapper is not thick and the filling which is a perfect combination of pork, herbs, and spices delivers such a heavenly taste.

Dessert

I’ve heard leche flan of Aristocrat Restaurant is delicious; I failed to get a taste of it though. What I had instead is the halo-halo and it tasted fine.

If I will be asked about my recommendation, I will tell you right away to try Torta de los Reyes without battling an eyelash. It is a chocolate covered sansrival that is surprisingly light. Oh dear, it was so luscious and tasted so divine! Your sweet tooth will definitely love it.

smileThe Price

The food in Aristocrat Restaurant can be a bit expensive as compared to other Filipino restaurants but I personally think they are reasonably priced since they can well compensate your craving for a good taste. After all, Aristocrat has managed to stay for several decades because of its integrity in providing good food. I am pretty sure that they will stay longer in the business and continue to expand.

The Aristocrat: A Childhood Favorite
Smile 2013-09-09
My family and I literally spent almost every occasion and Sunday family lunches at The Aristocrat during my growing up years. And each visit was memorable not only because I am with my family but because of the much beloved chicken barbeque and java rice- hahaha. I mean, I don't know a kid (or adult) who haven't fallen in love with Aristocrat's chicken barbeque.

The good thing about this famous chicken barbeque is the taste- because it still taste the same as to what I remember when I ate it years ago with my family. Each milestone spent at this restaurant really is memorable and made special with the quality of the food being served to us. And also because of the fact that the restaurant staff treated us like extended family members.

I really can't remember if I eat anything back then except for the chicken barbeque. But now, there's another personal favorite ...

The Crispy Pata. The first time I had this (meaning I skipped ordering chicken barbeque) was after my cousins and I watched The Andrew Llyod Webber Special at the CCP a few years back. We were quite famished after the program which ended quite late so we made a short detour to Aristocrat to eat a belated dinner. We all reminisced about our happy childhood memories in this restaurant, and about how we see ourselves in our children whenever we dine here. A deja vu.

Halo-Halo
Smile 2013-06-14

It was after a very tiring but productive and fruitful meeting when me & my Manager went to Aristocrat San Andres, Malate Manila and ate lunch.

She had barbeque and java rice as I can remember while I had boneless grilled chicken barbeque with java rice as well.

Both had sachets of Java Sauce which gave life to our dishes.

It was very delicious and flavorful.

After our sumptuous lunch, my Manager, Ms Golda, ordered Aristocrat's Special Halo-halo.

She has been a fan of Halo Halo and she did not let that moment to just slip away. lol

The Halo Halo was very delicious and it had lots of ingredients.

The usual kaong, pinipig, nata, gulaman, sago, red monggo beans, kidney beans, langka, saba, ube, leche flan, sugar, evaporated milk and ice cream on top completed the delectable dessert.

We will surely visit here again at Aristocrat in San Andres, Malate, Manila.
