When I am with my family and we want to eat Chinese Food, the first thing that comes to our mind is SuperBowl of China. Its location is a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the mall. I remember directing my aunt thru text and ended up looking for her somewhere around Glorietta 3. Anyway, it’s nice to visit this restaurant and spend time with the family while enjoying our food. Its spacious here and the kids usually run around and play near the glass wall. The place is kept clean at all times and tables are well set. For this review, we had the following:
Fried Crispy Chicken - all time kid’s favorite dish, Chinese style. Tastes good and it has a lot of flavor.
Presentation - simply plated and sliced evenly into small separate pieces. i like the golden color of the chicken. =)
Taste - flavorful. tasty enough to eat on its own without sauce.
Rating - 4/5
Pork Ribs with Spicy Salt - This is something you should try. Watch out for fragments of rib, you might bite into it and its really uncomfortable.
Presentation- It looks good on the plate because of its dark-brown color and smells great too.
Taste- I’m not quite a fan of spicy food, but when i tried it, it tasted all right and wasn't that hot as i thought it would. I think it was seasoned just right. It goes well with sweet and spicy sauce.
Rating - 4/5
Sweet and Sour Pork - I always order this wherever Chinese Restaurant I am in. It’s a must for me to try this dish because its one of my favorites. =)
Presentation - Looked very delectable because of its red-orange color mixed with a few greens and yellow (green bell and pineapple).
Taste - They made their sweet and sour pork really well. it was very tasty and even crunchy as well. this is the only dish i eat with slices of pineapple. hehe really a delight to eat especially with Yang Chow Fried Rice.
Rating - 5/5
Beef with Broccoli - Now this is a simple dish i know everyone will enjoy sharing.
Presentation - Looked really good to eat and i just love how the brocolli stands out because of its bright green color.
Taste - I love the sauce and the broccoli. I actually separate the beef from the rest of the dish and my folks don't mind me having most of the veggies =) When you bite into the brocolli, you’d appreciate its crunchy-ness and you know that it’s fresh and cooked just right. The beef is okay, it tastes the way its supposed to be and its soft enough to chew.
Rating - 4/5
Service -- we had no problem with service here. They were very attentive to our needs even if we decide to change one order for another and they were patient enough when the kids make a mess on the table. They always serve us with a smile and they were respectful to our elderly.
Price -- reasonable. expect to spend a few thousand bucks when 6-8 people dine together. ;p
So, i’m looking forward to another dining experience here soon. i’m sure to try something new and be glad to write about it. =)
