Super Bowl: family's favorite

Super bowl is one of the good

Chinese restaurants i love visiting.

They have plenty of dishes on the menu

you can choose from and all within a

reasonable price.

This one i had last time was so flavorful

i love its crunchiness and the sauce gives it

a unique kick.

it's a little bit salty so it's good pairing it with some chow rice.

to balance off the taste.

its really a favorite dish of mine

Even my mom always order this when we dine here

Super Bowl!
Smile 2011-10-26
One of my favorite restaurants that offer delicious Chinese cuisine is the Super Bowl. Their foods are quality and all worth it for your money. We ordered beef broccoli, and chicken with lemon flavor and noodle. The service was also good. The restaurant has a wide space that can accommodate many guests. We really enjoyed our Super Bowl experienced.

Super Bowl of China in Glorietta is my favorite place not only because of their good food but also because of their friendly attendants. I like a dining place that has more to offer than others. I love their big bowls of noodles, their new menu like Emperor's Chicken with Mandarin Sauce and Hot Shrimp & Fish Salad. Price range is from 250 to 300 per head. It's worth it! Super Bowl of China is definitely topping my list!

TO BOWL OR NOT TO BOWL
Just OK 2011-05-30
Dinner time is approaching.bowlchopstick
Good thing that my dear friend and I settled in a restaurant with not so many patron yet. It was kinda tricky how to reach this SUPER BOWL OF CHINA branch. We did two rounds of walking- and- finding-but-nothing-happened. Until such time that I asked the guard near the escalator on where this restaurant is situated. He gave us just a brief and clear instruction and we immediately followed it.
At last we found it. It has only one way in reaching this place. No more no less. It is like it was situated under the stairs/escalator. Whew!

 entry point

 the menu

The reason why we settled on this place is because our attention were caught by the numerous tarpaulin that hanged in every corner and sidewalk of the mall. Besides, they do have an ongoing promo of a noodle dish which is half of the original price. Good deal we thought!

 the dining area

The place is clean. and organized. They do have long tables and nice couch to sit on by big groups most especially by families. It is well-lit and ventilated too. They have this nice view of Glorietta facing G5 building.

   CRISPY NOODLES WITH ASSORTED SEAFOOD

My dear friend and I ordered the same thing which still falls in their latest promotion.
As per menu, their description of the above photo is this: Cripsy fried egg noodles smothered with cuttlefish, boneless fish fillet, shrimp, other seafood, mixed vegetables, and mixed mushrooms in clear, light seafood sauce.

The statement is true. It's just that the dish has plenty of big mushroom slices instead of seafood pieces. Anyway, still worth the price of 50% off its original price.
The said dish is good for two persons. Our bad to order 2 of this dish and didn't finish our plate :'( We were so full! We could've ordered for another dish had we knew that we will be full in no time.
Crispy noodles is worth Php125 only!

   BBQ Prok Siopao

This dimsum is worth Php125 (3 pcs). This is served without sauce to smothered with. Tastes really good. I was flipping through their menu book (looks brand new) but found no Bola-bola siopao which I preferred to go with our noodle dish that time over the Pork BBQ or Asado Siopao.

Just before we made our orders, we were given a feedback slip regarding our dining experience. Minutes before we vacate the place we unanimously accomplished it and included in the suggestion space to add Bola-bola in their menu (which I actually wrote 4 years ago when their Trinoma branch opened).

I noticed and learned upon the food server gave our bill slip that they forgot to give us a complimentary pica-pica - a small bowl of prawn crackers (which we saw in our neighboring tables no matter how small or big their groups are). Besides it was also reflected in the OR slip. Uhmmmm...they must have forgotten to give us one sad

Delightfully Super Bowl
Smile 2011-05-29
When I am with my family and we want to eat Chinese Food, the first thing that comes to our mind is SuperBowl of China. Its location is a bit tricky to find if you are not familiar with the mall. I remember directing my aunt thru text and ended up looking for her somewhere around Glorietta 3. Anyway, it’s nice to visit this restaurant and spend time with the family while enjoying our food. Its spacious here and the kids usually run around and play near the glass wall. The place is kept clean at all times and tables are well set. For this review, we had the following:

Fried Crispy Chicken - all time kid’s favorite dish, Chinese style. Tastes good and it has a lot of flavor.
Presentation - simply plated and sliced evenly into small separate pieces. i like the golden color of the chicken. =)
Taste - flavorful. tasty enough to eat on its own without sauce.
Rating - 4/5

Pork Ribs with Spicy Salt - This is something you should try. Watch out for fragments of rib, you might bite into it and its really uncomfortable.
Presentation- It looks good on the plate because of its dark-brown color and smells great too.
Taste- I’m not quite a fan of spicy food, but when i tried it, it tasted all right and wasn't that hot as i thought it would. I think it was seasoned just right. It goes well with sweet and spicy sauce.
Rating - 4/5

Sweet and Sour Pork - I always order this wherever Chinese Restaurant I am in. It’s a must for me to try this dish because its one of my favorites. =)
Presentation - Looked very delectable because of its red-orange color mixed with a few greens and yellow (green bell and pineapple).
Taste - They made their sweet and sour pork really well. it was very tasty and even crunchy as well. this is the only dish i eat with slices of pineapple. hehe really a delight to eat especially with Yang Chow Fried Rice.
Rating - 5/5

Beef with Broccoli - Now this is a simple dish i know everyone will enjoy sharing.
Presentation - Looked really good to eat and i just love how the brocolli stands out because of its bright green color.
Taste - I love the sauce and the broccoli. I actually separate the beef from the rest of the dish and my folks don't mind me having most of the veggies =) When you bite into the brocolli, you’d appreciate its crunchy-ness and you know that it’s fresh and cooked just right. The beef is okay, it tastes the way its supposed to be and its soft enough to chew.
Rating - 4/5

Service -- we had no problem with service here. They were very attentive to our needs even if we decide to change one order for another and they were patient enough when the kids make a mess on the table. They always serve us with a smile and they were respectful to our elderly.

Price -- reasonable. expect to spend a few thousand bucks when 6-8 people dine together. ;p

So, i’m looking forward to another dining experience here soon. i’m sure to try something new and be glad to write about it. =)

Super Super Super Bowl!
Smile 2011-03-22
For my best friend's birthday, her parents treated us with a free dinner. Aside from eating for free, bonus na lang for me that treat was in Super Bowl of China. Ooh, I love Chinese food!

We ordered what I can say our usuals. Fried Rice, Beef with Broccoli, Hakaw and Seafood.

We all had a great time catching up and eating. Finishing everything we ordered was not that hard of a task. It was kinda easy actually. Food was too tasty and yummy, we wanted more pa. Hahaha!

Service was also good in their Glorietta branch. The waiters gave their full attention to us and responded promptly whenever we ask for a refill in our glass of water.

The verdict? I'd go back because Super Bowl serves good food and offers great service. smile

   HAKAW!!!

Super Bowl of China
Just OK 2011-02-14
Biglaang gutom lang.

After work, I think we were supposed to watch a movie.

But decided that we just eat.

So we went to Super Bowl of China to satisfy our appetite.

Started with the complimentary Kropeck.

And after 2-3 mini plates of Kropeck, we were like "tara na, alis na kaya tayo? busog na ko eh. Hahaha!"

We ordered the usual. Yang Chow Fried Rice. Beef with Broccoli. Steamed Fish Fillet with Garlic. Spicy Mandarin Chicken

I find the steamed fish fillet a bit fish-y (what's the english term for malansa?). It was our first time to try that fish dish, and we were expecting the usual whole fish with the garlic bits on top. Hehe.

Despite the fish-y fish, it was still a superb meal. With all the jokes and stories told during dinner, it sure was one of our best date nights. smile

After all
Smile 2010-06-30
After we got a nice merienda at starbucks late this afternoon, after office my boyfriend once again treated me at Super Bowl naman and not with Atrium, but to other branch narin naman. With this new branch that we try, we just ordered a half of chicken, a stir fried I really don’t know what it is plus of course kanin, and that’s java rice i think, may kamahalan nga lang yung rice but anyway sagot naman ni honey kaya ayos lang din naman. lol

So with the first it was just perfectly cooked, the meat was so tender and flavorfuly nice. As in masarap talaga siya and there’s really no thought about it. But on the second taught mas lalo pa siya sumarap when I added the second dish that honey ordered a while ago. Nagkataon lang din na mas sumarap pa siya ng sinabayan ng kanin.

Yun na... If you’re asking if how’s the crew here. Ayun they where all nice naman and approachable in a sense na madaling tawagin pag wala kang kahati sa attention nila.

Ahahahaha nag iinarte lang. Basta all in all ok lang din naman siya at tipong masasatisfy ka naman, wag ka lang masyadong perfectionist.
