Tapsilog

It's Monday and the best way to start your week is to have a sumptuous and healthy breakfast. After bringing my wife to her office, I stopped by at Sinangag Express to have my power breakfast.

Since they are popular with tapsis, I had their tapsilog. A combination of tapa, sinangag and egg which is the usual breakfast for filipinos. The tapa is tasty and the rice fits perfectly with the combination.

i kept hearing good comments about sinangag express from my
co workers, most of them often tell me that meal here are very affordable and the taste
is really good, then one afternoon i decided to give it go for my lunch.
i ordered the tapsilog, but upon seeing it a was quite disappointed it looks
dull and dry. but as for the taste i can say it's good and really worth my money.
its just the appearance that got me not interested

Sinangag Express!
Smile 2011-09-29
Sinangag Express is very famous in serving delectable yet affordable “silog” meals. My favorite is of course the all time Filipino favorite, Tapsilog! It consists of tasty tapa, egg and garlic rice. Their silog meals are truly to crave for. Sinangag Express is my favorite place especially when my I craved for tapsilog after “inuman”. Great Food and Quality Service!

Sinangag Express Invasion!
Smile 2011-07-28
I am done with my interview at Makati City. I have decided to took my lunch because I am so my mind and soul are telling me that I should eat already. I saw that there is a branch of sinangag express along Pio Del Pilar at Chino express. To be honest I was shocked because I didn't expect that because the singangag express branch that i knew was only along Zapote and Taft.

I took my lunch at sinangag express. I ordered their best seller yet their specialty tapsilog. Their tapsilog in this branch was so good because they rest-assure that they are going to serve everything hot so that it will be their edge towards to their other branches. I really enjoyed dipping their tapa at their special vinegar. It is so good. I cannot stop from munching.

Sinangag Express ;)
Cries 2011-07-24
My wife and I decided to try out the Sinangag Express when we were just done with our grocery shopping at caltex malugay.

The place is not that good. It is too hot inside and the tables are not that stable. One move and your drink will be spilled.

We ordered liempo and tapsilog. Their liempo was good but the serving was so small and I got bitin. hehe! The tapsilog on the other hand is a bit too sweet for me. I am not a fan of sweet cuisines. We ordered four seasons for our drink but it tasted weird. I usually consume two cups of rice for a meal but this time I hardly finish one and a half cup. We will not be trying this out again. sad

Unlimited rice..
Cries 2010-10-04
Filipinos can't live without rice. Rice in the morning, rice in the afternoon, rice at night, rice for dessert or what ever

you can think of lol. Well, Sinagag Express serves unlimited Java Rice and it is quite affordable although not all of their meals are that good.

I've been there three times already and I only enjoyed one meal, specifically their Boneless Bangus. I have tried three different dishes in this fast food restaurant:

Boneless Bangus (Php 75.00) - perfectly cooked, goes very well with their Vinegar and Java Rice. Not too salty for my taste and the fish was not dry at all.

Tuna Sisig (Php 65.00) - well, somehow it says it is a "Must try" for me, I think its a "Must Not" lol. The reason being, it was just tuna from the can literally, that was just placed in a sizzling plate and added some tomatoes and onions and to think of it I love tuna.

Salisbury Steak (Php65.00) - on my last visit, I wanted to order their Boneless Bangus. Unfortunetly, it was not available so I tried out their Salisbury Steak, which was another failure. The meat somehow tasted mushy, and the gravy was a little bland and the egg sort of had the raw taste and lacked salt.

Tapsilog (Php70.00) - my boyfriend always orders this, and well we both like it. It taste like your typical tapa and it was not hard or gummy to eat, although the egg was a little cold, like it was just leftovers.

Not a really good dining experience for me, not even for everyday lunch meals plus the place was uber! hot. They did have electric fans and aircon but they were all useless and the tables and chairs are not stable, you have to move really slow in order not to let the table wiggle and end up having soup or beverages on the table. I guess people dine in at this place because somehow it is affordable and they have unlimited rice.
