has been our neighborhood for the longest time, I admit that it was just recent when I tried their BESTSELLER...Tapsilog. For me, it was the tastiest and yet affordable tapsilog that I have ever tried.
Now, I get the chance to have that experience duplicated in their different branch located in U.P. Diliman.
The place was wider than in Philcoa but it was a bit hot. Nevertheless, people still go there to eat including myself.
I was really, really, tempted to order the same because almost majority of them did order Tapsilog. Just the look of it reminded me how it tastes like.
But, I challenged myself to order something different because I want to believe that Rodic's is more than their Tapsilog.
I ordered Longsilog
which is P10 less than Tapsilog. This meal consists of two medium sized skinless longganisa, fried egg, and fried rice.
When it was served, I encountered mixed emotions. I am very picky when it comes to eating longganisa especially those skinless ones. There were times that I didn't like how they were cooked. As if it was undercooked and whenever you burp, you still taste it even you have brushed your teeth a million times. So I was really not a fan of Skinless Longganisa.
But when I took my first bite, it was outstanding. I enjoyed it the same way I enjoyed their Tapsilog. The lonnganisa was firm, full of taste, and sweet tasting There was a bit hint of pepper flavor but it tasted good with vinegar. Five spoons
This goes to show that Rodic's is more than just Tapsilog Place.
