I have not tried Purple Oven yet.. but I often hear these pastry shop every time my friends get to chance to talk about foods.

My Friend, Pat grabbed me at their store located at the 63 St Peter Street, Oranbo in Pasig City.
When entering the place, i was overwhelmed to see different flavours of cake and I really enjoyed staying.

I liked their White Chocolate Sans Rival and Pistachio Stardust. But I would highly recommend for you to order their Honeycomb Crunch Cake and Rustic Chocolate Torte. You can order their delicious cakes at the price range of 600.00 php to 800.00 php and it is definitely worth it.

Purple Oven is surely a must-try!

My friend introduced me to this place a while back and since then, I have been constantly craving for the stuff at Purple Oven.

The place was small so it was better to have the goods for take out. As for my favorite one, I love the revel bars. They're not too sweet and they're moist in the middle. They're simply addicting and it's worth going to Pasig every time because they're really good.

Lemon Squares
Smile 2012-12-12
Last year, my friend gave me a box of cookies as a present and I loved it. She said she bought it from Purple Oven. Since then, Purple Oven has been a usual route for me to visit whenever I pass by Pasig area.

Aside from the cookies, one of my usual treat is their lemon squares. I love the softness of each bite giving me full flavor of lemon. Purple oven has been making sinful treats that everyone can share. I think it's also a best give you can share for christmas.

Purple Oven!
Smile 2012-10-21
We bound to pasig to attend the birthday celebration of our friend Jason and we decided to buy something for a gift in Purple Oven at 63 St Peter Street, Oranbo, Pasig City. We ordered Oreo Cheesecake and it costed us Seven Hundred Eighty Pesos. The taste was so good and it was so yummy, this cake was so perfect and it will truly indulge you. This cake is so recommendable for birthday and special events for your special someone. This is a great deal already because of its home made taste and it was so delicately cooked to perfection. We experienced the bite of heaven with this cake. I will recommend this to my friends and relatives and let them experience the cakes and desserts that Purple Oven offers. My score to this Oreo Cheesecake is 10 out of 10 as in perfect score!

Cakes For The Mighty
Smile 2012-10-19

Best cake so far that I've tasted

   Midnight snack

 The place is cozy

I'm not one who's easily impressed when it comes to pastries and cakes. This is why I might have been brought up sampling lots of old Goldilocks and Red Ribbon cakes, but I still believe that the world can do better... at least here in Metro Manila.

When my brothers celebrated their birthday recently (they're identical twins), I opted for the cake brand that my college classmate introduced to me in jest 2 months ago -- Purple Oven. Since my old folks are privy to sugar, I had the attendant choose for me the Lemon Flavored cake that's good for old people's taste and health because it's low on sugar. The lemon zing are the young ones of course.

It set me back an awful pricey Php750 but digging into it once I got home, it turned out to be priceless! shocked lol

Purple Oven's best cakes are actually the cheesecake roster, but you ought to try also their other confections because I heard through the pastry grapevine that it's where posh coffee shops get their orders for their respective outlets. This is probably why the carrot cake for example in Starbucks is not that affordable LOL! tongue

   Revel Bars

I have never been a fan of Revel bars because there is no where and no version i have tasted that didn't taste unsatisfactory UNTIL that momentous day in Nuvali (sorry the branch is still not in the roster of open rice and so i chose Oranbo). We (meaning my team) were to eat lunch but as we got off the car, we saw this new bakeshop, Purple Oven. We got in and checked out the baked goodies. They had free bite size banana bread for tasting and we literally feasted on them; only with shame that we left a few pieces (not that we liked them really but we were starving). We compensated though by coming back to the store after lunch (as promised to the staff. One of the staff was not cordial. Seemed irritated with the commotion we created.) and bought 9 boxes of their revel bars and food for the gods combined.

We went to a coffee shop and opened our goodies there. My first bite of the revel bar was, and this is not to exaggerate, jolting. BECAUSE i was not really expecting to like it, much more LOOOOVE it! From then, i was hooked. We came back again to buy and i had a box just for myself and only sharing about 6 slices :-) loooooove it. soooo good with coffee! The whole team agreed Purple Oven's Revel Bar is delicioso!

Chocolate Campfire
Smile 2012-10-02
Our family had this gathering in Quezon City. My Tita A brought this incredible piece of cake, and we were all wondering where did she get this. The presentation looks creative and really invites every person to eat this. Me and my cousins had a cheap shot on the icing because we can't help ourselves on tasting it.

Chocolate Campfire ( P550.00 ) - Really? This cake was so affordable and delectable at first glance. And when you get a slice of this chocolate cake, you'll surely be transported into heaven. The chocolate was so moist and is not too sweet unlike other cakes do. The icing was so luscious! Everything was so perfect for each other. I think this is good for simple celebrations like this, or even a gift to your loved ones. They will surely love Purple Oven's cake!

Purple Oven and White Chocolate

   White Chocolate Sans Rival

Price Php 750 for Whole Cake

Description Sans rival cake with white chocolate icing and shaved white chocolates

Personal Review Purple Oven is like an open secret. A lot of people have heard of it and some restaurants even serve Purple Oven delicacies in their dessert menus. Purple Oven claims that their cakes and pastries are made with LOVE and meant for sharing, I totally agree. Their cakes not only look good but tastes even better! The amount of time and effort put in making these cakes are obvious when you buy their desserts. We bought a White Chocolate Sans Rival for the house, we usually look for dessert after a heavy meal at home and this was perfect. My husband loves Sans Rival and I love White Chocolate, a perfect marriage to me! The cake is really heavy, and the presentation is perfect as a gift. It was almost a shame to cut up the cake. Once you see the inside of the cake, the nutty goodness of Sans Rival comes alive. A bit on the sweet side since it has White Chocolate icing but nothing a warm cup of coffee cannot fix. Everyone at home loved the cake, one slice was enough per serving so the cake actually made it for three more nights before it was gone lol

The place is a bit hard to find but I used google maps to find it. Good thing my husband is good with directions!

Brownies<3

Crazy about brownies! <3 I just love how a newly-made batch of brownies could light up your day! I was feeling down in the dumps for no reason whatsoever (I know we all get those days) but my friend surprised me with a batch of brownies from Purple Oven. I was so happy I hugged my friend so tight. I had about two pieces before I said thank you because I lost myself in the yumminess of the brownies. Purple Oven is LOOOOOVE.

Purple Oven Cakes
Smile 2011-10-18
I was given a cake from Purple oven called Pistachio Stardust for my birthday.

I've never heard of Purple Oven before but upon researching about it, I learned that their cakes made it to the top 20 yummiest cakes featured on The Inquirer.

I guess they don't invest much on their marketing and depend more on b word of mouth.

Well, I could say that I'm thankful to be part of the few people lucky enough to have tried their cakes.

Their Banoffee Pie and Chocolate Campfire are some of their best-sellers.

You should try their Pistachio Stardust too if you want something light.

The texture of the chiffon is so soft and moist which I really love.

Thanks to my office mates who gave this to me smile
