My "Precious Moments" Dining Experience
Just OK 2013-09-20
Finally, I've got a chance to dine in Precious Moments Manila Restaurant couple of weeks ago. I must say that the dining experience was one of the best dining I ever had in my 27 years of existence in the world. I heard a lot about this restaurant but due to hectic schedule I didn't get any chance to try it but not until last week, Saturday.

Precious Moments Gift Shop and Restaurant is known for their cute and full of inspiration angel figurines, dolls and the likes. Being in their showroom is one of the tranquil moments that give an aura of childhood, good luck, inspiration and motivation and calm, an ambiance that most diners and foodie buffs look for. That’s why; eating at Precious Moments Restaurant is an experience that I wanted to do repeatedly.

For appetizer we had this healthy chicken asparagus soup that tasted heavenly delicious! I'm a bit picky when it comes to soup so this one really passed on my standards. Yummy!

   Chicken Asparagus Soup | P210

Ohh-la-la! Crab! Do I have to say more? smile One of my favorites! This dish, for me, is serves as a main dish and merienda as well. Two thumbs up for this!

   Crab Sotanghon | P90/100grams

Another must try is the Koren Squid. So, goodbye to old fashion calamares 'coz Precious Moments Restaurant made a one-of-a-kind flavorful variant of squid!

   Koren Squid | P330

They also had Cappuccino and Cookies & Cream Frap which are way better and more affordable than Starbucks (I had to say that since I am also buying and drinking Starbucks coffee).

   Mango Tiramisu | P132

   Cookies & Cream | P125

One more thing, the seafood and fish were freshly come from Aklan. That’s why the flavours come out from its own which makes it standout from the other. The foods that we’ve eaten were tasteful that would meet every taste buds expectation.

Precious Moments
Smile 2012-10-22

I have passed by this place a lot of times but never gave it much thought until recently. I finally got curious because it has been there for years and it said that it was also a restaurant. As luck would have it, a fellow blogger was actually invited to dine here and I was amazed at the photos of the place. Apparently, this is one of those hole in the wall places that you'd never even bother going in until you learn that there was a lot of things that you could actually discover.

So yesterday, after visiting National Museum with FM and the kids, we trooped over here and found out for ourselves what Precious Moments was all about.

It was so adorable inside. I couldn't help but marvel at the dolls on display and if they weren't costly, I'd actually buy everything in sight. Okay, not everything but 90% of the dolls. Finally, we ordered and this is what we had.

The seafood spinach soup was priced at Php230. However, it serves 6 people so it's actually pretty cheap. Best part is that it wasn't lacking in ingredients and it tasted so good.

The tuna carbonara cost Php247 but the serving is good for 2-3 people. It is creamy, cooked al dente, and oh so yummy. It's crazy yummy to be honest.

The braised pata tim which was Php465 is good for at least 5 people and it was so soft. I loved it. Seriously, Precious Moments it seems is not just a gift shop but a really great Chinese restaurant as well. Sam Butcher, founder and creator of this adorable things seems to also have good taste when it comes to food.
