Me and my family have an agreement to go and eat at the Muang Thai located at banawe Quezon City because we are all craving for a crispy squid, prawn cakes and satay that is a Thailand food.smile

We tried the grilled shrimp on lemon grass stick and yum goong.smile

And also we try their other food to experience, what does thai food taste like..tongue
We enjoy all the food that we have ordered. They also served a nice wines such as red an white wines.

We all enjoy the meal, the place and helpful waiter and everything about the Muang Thai.smile

In short good food with great and nice ambiance. And if you wanna try this restaurant, I will assure you will like their dishes.tongue

Authentically Thai

From the Delmonte Avenue end to the Maria Clara Street end, Banawe Street in Quezon City is lined with dining places, save for the car parts shops toward the far Quezon Avenue end. End to end, you'll find Chinese to Taiwanese to Korean to Japanese cuisine, and not to be left out are coffee shops and snack stops.

In the midst of these Asian casual dining places along this major thoroughfare is Muang Thai, a rather unassuming restaurant. The modest facade is not intimidating, telling you instead that the food is good and easy on the pocket.

Their Tom Yam, and everything else, is unmistakably Thai. We opted for the mixed seafood—squid, fish cubes, shrimp, clam—and mushrooms, drowned in subtly spicy citrus soup. What's good about Muang Thai is that they've made half-orders available, just enough for two.

The Beef Massaman Curry was delightfully sweet and creamy, the fresh basil and peanuts accentuating the mild coconut sauce. Very tender.

Spending for two: P376.00, including rice.
