We were attended and given seats as immediate as they could when we have arrived but we were not told anything further until I approached. That's when they gave a signal that we could go for the buffet already.
A lot of food were served but not as much as how we expected. When we're done and went back, we were surprised that the table given to us has been occupied by other customers. Can you imagine us, holding out plate full of food without having a table, and not even an attendant approached us. So I decided to move first and look for an attendant. More disappointing is, she just told us to wait as she look for another attendant for us. We waited, but no one arrived so I just had to approach another one until we've settled to another table. It's so disappointing but we don't want to ruin the night so we gave it a chance and moved on from that.
Here are our plates:
The food’s okay, except for the sushis we got. Gerald loved the burger steak while I loved the baguio beans wrapped in bacon. I so love baguio beans, and add up the bacon, it's perfect! The pasta we got is also delicious!
We went for another round, but this time it’s only Gerald who fall in line while I wait on the table thinking we might lose a place again. But Gerald went back disappointed because we were expecting that another set of food will be prepared but the same set of food is still on the buffet. So he just got what we didn’t get on our first round.
As for the drinks, it’s also unlimited but the variants are limited. There’s only pomelo and mango juice and iced tea to choose from, aside from the cocktails and beers. Because we don't want to drink alocoholic that night, we go for juice instead. First, I got myself a mango juice, because it’s my favorite while Gerald got himself an iced tea. For the second round, I tried pomelo juice, which as expected, I didn’t like that much. I got a cocktail so we could at least try but we didn’t like it, though Gerald still drank it. He said the cocktail’s too strong. We’re not really into drinking anyway.
After a while, we grabbed another plate, but this time it’s Tacos.
The first one or two hours were spent for eating and we only started enjoying the night when we went inside to watch the performances. The performers are really entertaining, from the costumes they wear to how they act in character. Of course, we didn’t miss the chance to take a few photos with them.
By the way, there are numerous screens you can see around the cafe, but they didn’t attract me at all. How could you even watch with all those screens flashing different movies? How can you listen to the movies with the sounds of the cafe? I felt like they’re just wasting their electricity with those screens.
There are also huge statues of different characters inside like this one:
We only spent around three hours there but we totally enjoyed it, despite of all the not so good things. Thanks to the cheerful performers that saved our night. And if you would ask me if I’ll be going back here, my answer will be a ‘yes’.
