Mupy husband and I usually hang out at Moomba on thursday night because it's their usual gig day where they play good music. Aside from the good music, Moomba is the place when we want to have a taste of ostrich cuisine. Tonight, I had their peppered ostrich with zucchini pasta to go with my wine. Ostrich taste like chicken, the pasta is amazing plus it feels healthy.

Tiramisu, Php 115 And to finally complete our desserts exploration at Moomba, we ordered their Tiramisu. Tiramisu has been popular because even though you're not a chef nor baker, it has been easy to prepare this dessert at home. Moomba's tiramisu is surprisingly different from what i expected. They used broas instead of graham crackers. The filling is delicious plus they topped it with shredded chocolates.

Blueberry Cheesecake, Php 125.00 After indulging with ostrich meals, it's time to give our palette with a sweet surprise. We ordered Blueberry cheesecake for dessert. They say that it's a restaurant made cheesecake and was prepared by their chefs. Giving a verdict for this dessert, it's just the usual blueberry cheesecake that we eat on coffee and pastry shop. Nothing unusual that will separate the taste from any other blueberry cakes, but who cares, blueberry cheesecake ...

Chocolate Decadence, Php 115.00 My friend who is a fan of chocolate always ends his meal with a desert, and a better way to end it is to indulge in Moomba's very own Chocolate Decadence. A slice of their chocolate decadence goes a long way with it's chocolate bread topped with rich chocolate icing and vanilla filling in the middle. In every bite, you will appreciate the not so sweet taste of the chocolate making you feel less guilty of this indulgence.

Ostrich Ala Pobre, Php 495.00 If you're looking for a different kick of ostrich meal on Moomba's menu, Ostrich Ala Pobre is a must try. The ostrich is sauteed on light soy sauce and wine. The Ostrich Ala Pobre is served with mashed potato on the base, strips of veggies in the middle, then the sauteed ostrich meat cut into thin slices topped with crisp whole Garlic. The way they served this menu is really interesting, might shocked you at first because of the big ...

Baked Tuna Thermidor, Php 450.00 Moomba has proven enough that they served ostrich well, weather paired with pasta, rice or mashed potato. For this meal, we tried their Seafood section of the menu and ordered Baked Tuna Thermidor for main course. Thermidor means heat so I expect a well cooked tuna for this. Their baked tuna topped with melted cheese is served with vegetable strips and mashed potato. The tuna literally melts in my mouth and pairing it wish mashed potato is...

My friend tried "Peppered Ostrich" as his main course. The ostrich is prepared and cut like a steak sauteed in olive oil, seasoned with three peppercorns and finished with herbed pasta. The herbed pasta is really good. The ostrich surpass the level of a steak because surprisingly, ostrich is better than beef. We were caught off guard believing that ostrich taste like chicken and to our surprise it is not. The meat is not white as we expected, and ostrich meat is good in serving...

Anything with curry is a must try for my husband. The mixture of curry sauce and chili that burst into his mouth is a satisfaction for him. For this dinner, he tried Moomba's Ostrich in Red Curry Sauce. Php 495.00 for a main course served with rice, veggies and banana on the side. The ostrich meat is very tender and juicy absorbing the curry taste of the sauce. The veggies and banana on the side are there to clean your palette incase the chili feeling in your tongue is too...

Tian of Ostrich, Php 495.00 My husband brought me to a different fine dining experience. Well, to be honest I was not expecting that there will be a fine dining like this on the heart of quezon city. The place is made of woods, very spacious, with table and couches with pillows making you feel comfortable. My husband ordered for me and he recommends to try Tian of Ostrich as main course. Costing us Php495.00 for this serving is really worth it. Well, I have been a fan o...

Carrot and Pumpkin Soup, Php 85.00 I have been a fan of pumpkin soup. My fine dinning experience will never be complete without trying the restaurant's pumpkin soup. It is my first time to eat at Moomba and it's time to test their pumpkin soup with a hint of carrot. The presentation is just the same with croutons on top, as other restaurant would serve it. It was served hot but kinda surprised because I was expecting bits of carrots on the soup, because they named it "carrot a...
