My aunt from the states went home last month and before she go back there, she treat the whole family out for a night snack at McCafe.
And because it is a once in million times chance (kidding
) (kasi matagal nanaman namin siya makakasama
), we ordered everything "mahal
" in the menu
We ordered McCafe's all time best seller blueberry cheesecake, a slice of banana cake, chocolate chip cookie, oatmeal raisin cookie, large strawberry shake, medium size mocha frappe and medium size iced mocha latte.
It was actually my first time to order their blueberry cheesecake and it was okay naman. The cheesecake tasted delicious although it is kinda different from other cafes. The cake underneath the cheesecake was soft unlike other cheesecakes that is somehow matigas na
crunchy. The blueberry, like any other blueberry tasted sweet and a bit sour. It was a good food really and I loved it.
The slice of banana cake, again like any other banana cake tasted sweet and delicious. Nothing really extraordinary about it.
The cookies on the other hand tasted different. The cookies were matamis and it was really soft. Unlike other cookies in a jar, it is supposed to be something matigas like a cookie!. you know..
but their's was kakaiba. Hindi ko alam kung ganun lang talaga yun o baka nahanginan.. but it was okay naman and masarap
The strawberry shake according to my brother was masarap but when I tasted it, it was so matapang
. You would really taste the strawberry fruit in it. I didn't like it, sorry.
My mocha frappe was delicious. I mean, compare to other frappuccino out there, McCafe's a little less, but nonetheless I enjoyed it and because I'm a coffee addict I don't care how different frappes would taste. I love them all
Lastly, as for the iced mocha, nothing much different or new about it. It was kinda the same with mocha frappe. The only thing is that in the mocha frappe, it has cream on top. that's all!
