I have been trying Halo halo from different food stalls and restaurants and only few of them serves a good one. Halo halo from Little Quiapo Restaurant is fantastic. If you want to try their treats, I would highly recommend that you come and visit them at 90 Malakas St., Brgy. Pinyahan in Diliman, Quezon City. Aside from halo halo, they also offer main courses that would be perfect for lunch or dinner. To name a few, they also have Baguio Omelette, Sotangon w/ B...

This place makes me realize that it is GOOD to be a FILIPINO. Waiters here know me by face and some by name. Some of them also knows that my parents are in the province. Whenever I wanna long for my mom's cooking. This is one of the best places that pops to my mind. One of their signature dishes served is their version of pancit palabok. It is simply superb. LQs pancit palabok has this distinguised sauce that melts in your mouth. I highly recommend this to my frien...

Pancit has always been a Filipino meal that we can do without when there is a cause for celebration like our office anniversary. It is also a good way of welcoming new office mates on their first week of working with us. Two Huge Bilao( Native Flat Tray) which hopefully will cater to a crowd of 50 was ordered. I arrived in time for lunch. All had a nice time scooping several plates full of pancit. Since most of us are girls even if we eat a few plates full of this Pinoy sau...

A casual dining restaurant that has been here in Diliman since the 90's that serves Filipino dishes but is more well-known for their Halo-Halo.Price: P97 Description: Iced dessert with corn kernels, milk, leche flan, and a scoop of Vanilla ice cream. Personal Review: Even it was raining a little, I was craving for a Halo-Halo after my friend and I finished having dinner in a Japanese restaurant that is also a few blocks away from Little Quiapo. ...

What do you think of when you hear the words "Pinoy merienda" I know, halo-halo and palabok, especially on a hot day. These two are quite the inseparable type, just like dinuguan and puto. Back home at Pampanga, we have Razon's, and boy do they make delicious halo-halo and palabok. So, I wondered, is there any food place that can top that (with the exception of our local halo-halo maker down the street hahaha He makes good halo-halo though)I remembered what my professor a...

Being a Kapampangan, I can tell if it's good food or not. It's not everyday that you get the chance to enjoy delicious comfort food, moreover, a good snack. In Pampanga, we have a lot of snacks that could be palate-worthy. We have Nathaniel's buko pandan, Susie's maja blanca, and the famous Razon halo-halo and palabok. Speaking of halo-halo and palabok, there's a food place at Quezon City that serves the best halo-halo and palabok. The name? Little Quiapo. You t...

Actually... I dont exactly remember now when we went to Little Baguio.. Why? Coz, my girlfriend and I together with our friends have this "biglaan" food trips.. and this is one of them.. I was assuming it was sometime around February, but I know it was 2009 for sure... ahahahaha! Anyways, yeah.. that's me in the photo, with the big bowl of banana split.. It was one good deal, trust me! I'm a sucker for desserts.. and something sweet and cold! Sorry.. We don't kn...
