Kookie Korner's Chocolate Cake <3
Smile 2013-02-08 (Related Review)

Now here's a cake Kookie Korner's once again proud to recommend! Their Chocolate Cake. Who would say no to someone offering a cake looking like this, right?smile With a generous smear of chocolate fudge on top and thick layer of caramel fudge right in the middle of two soft fudgy chocolate cakes, and I'm not going overboard with the fudge, but this cake was full of it! Maybe next time I'll order a whole cake just to store at home & I'll have it for a week! It was really satisfying. Highly recommended! Thanks, Kookie Korner!:*

Choco Cheesecake <3
Smile 2013-02-06 (Related Review)

Sweet cravings, when will you ever stop?tongue
I really have this incessant relationship with desserts. I once again found myself strolling around the mall looking for something that could possibly satisfy my sweet tooth. I was at the ground floor when I spotted Kookie Korner, other people were looking at the display counter and seemed to be liking what they saw so out of curiosity, I myself had a look-see.

I saw this pastry that looked very delicious. It had white chocolate & milk chocolate drops on top of a layer of chocolate, it was the base that I wasn't sure of so I asked what it was. To my surprise, it was cheesecake!

According to the cashier, their Choco Cheesecake is one of their bestsellers, it wasn't a surprise to me after one bite! It was really delicious. I loved it. I wish I had seconds =))

Thanks, Kookie Korner! 'Til my next visit!=)

Pin Wheel Cookies :)
Just OK 2013-01-31

I admire this place called Kookie Korner located at the Lower Ground Level of Shangri-La Plaza Mall. It may be a small stall but it seems to be doing really well and people really line up to try their pastries, cookies, cakes and a lot more. I spotted this huge cookie jar with cookies with a spiral design. According to the cashier she said they're called Pin Wheel Cookies. I gave them a try. They were okay and it was a good snack. Thanks, Kookie Korner!smile

Mini Crinkles
Just OK 2012-10-15

 Crinkles

I may not be into chocolate crinkles that much but sometimes I crave for it. I bought one container of those little crinkles from Kookie Korner. All I can say is it has a lot of confectioner and the taste of the crinkle was all right. It wasn't that sweet when the piece you got is not that covered with sugar but it was a little bit dry.

Not that Chewy
Just OK 2012-10-12

 Crinkles

I love crinkles especially if they are chewy and moist. I bought one container from Kookie Korner because it was only a hundred pesos and it has a lot of them swarmed in powdered sugar.

When I took a piece, it was sweet but it wasn't the way I was expecting it to be. It wasn't chewy that much and it wasn't moist. However, the overall taste is still okay.

Assorted Polvoron
Smile 2012-08-01

   Assorted Polvoron

A bake shop that sells cakes, pastries, and local delicacies.

 Kookie Korner

Price: P110

Description: Classic, cashew, ube, native flavors.

Personal Review: I was so fascinated that Polvorons can come on different flavors. Last time I check (at Goldilocks), they only have original, classic, and cookies and cream. But here, they have ube and chocolate. Too bad the chocolate flavor doesn't come with the pack that I bought.

Ube was fine. It was interesting but it didn't work for me. I still want the classic and the cashew. Maybe chocolate would be better than the ube.

Mini Cookies
Smile 2010-11-14
One of my favorite desserts to munch are cookies and one place to get all sorts of cookies and other desserts you can buy and nibble on.

Kookie Corner can be found at Shangrila Mall at the food court near the supermarket. When you pass by this stall, they have all this delicious treats and you would not resist it at all.

When I passed by here, I was a little confused on what to get as they all look good to see and I believe so great to eat. They had big cookies, medium size and mini bite size one's. Since, I thought of bringing it home, I got their Choco Chip cookies which were bite size and so I could share it with my siblings.

I bought it for Php40 and the cookies I bought looked like the hard type of cookies and I usually prefer the chewy one's but I gave this product a try.

As I took my first cookie, it was amazingly soft with a little crunch to it and it was sweet and really taste like chocolate chips. The bad side, I only got 2 pieces of it and the rest were eaten by my brothers haha.
