A couple of months ago, I noticed a new restaurant at the lower ground floor of Megamall Building B, --- KKK. Out of curiosity, I had to stop in front and look at their interior. They have a jeepney façade at the counter, with chandelier made of blue glass bottle, and wooden tables and chairs.
So today, at lunchtime, I decided to enter the restaurant and have my lunch there. I was greeted by the waiter with a menu. I browsed at the menu and they serve Filipino dishes. They have actually quite a variety of food to choose from. Their servings are all for sharing --- too bad I was eating alone.
I decided to order for Bangus Sisig and Rice, with Fresh Buko Juice. While waiting for my food, they served fried prawn /fish crackers. After 15 minutes, I understood why they had to do that.
My Fresh Buko Juice did arrive early though, served straight from the coconut, with straw… wow… talk about fresh.
I took a zip and the original buko juice is refreshing.
When the Bangus was served, it was really sizzling. It looks good and inviting. After taking a couple of pictures of the food for this review, I dig-in to the food with so much satisfaction. How I wish I was eating with my friends so I could have tried more dishes from their menu. I was looking over the food of the other tables and they all look delicious.
I was not able to finish my Bangus Sisig, so I requested to have it packed. Something this good should not be left for throwing.
I spent 300 for my lunch here and I am actually satisfied with the food and the dining experience. They also offer group meals for a set of 5 to 9 persons ranging from 1600 – 4300 depending on the number and types of food to be served. I browsed at the meal packages and the food quantity may be good for more people than what they estimated.
I guess I’ll bring my friends or family here.
