Smile 2013-12-11
I was waiting for my friend at SM CUBAO where we’re supposed to see each other for lunch and watch movie then do a bit of shopping. i come first so i find a good waiting place to rest my tired feet. i see kkk and since there is lot of vacant seat and space . i went inside, and start to look for a good food to order. after a few minutes my friend arrives at the same time my order was gave to me .she ordered the same as mine which is Adobo ni Jake, Sisig Pampanga, and Baked Tahong coupled with rice. The food was very Pinoy, and the adobo was really very good. Sarap! It’s the kind of like a home-cooked meal experience.

Forever Laing & Adobo at KKK
Smile 2013-11-29
We discovered the culinary destination KKK at SM Mall of Asia. Now that we've moved to the north, we still find their cooking one of the best when it comes to Filipino cuisine.

   Jake's Adobo

The humble adobo has been given a twist. I think this has atsuete for coloring and some other secret spics to make it uniquely adobo. It's good but a bit too oily for our taste.

   Laing

The laing is ever forever my favorite. Whenever I see that in the menu, I almost always want to order it if not for my wife..

   Buko pandan juice

The super creamy buko pandan is just as tasty when we first drank it. It's perfect for a hot day of walking.

Staff are friendly and accomodating. We definitely recommend this place for family gatherings.

Ginataang pancit
Smile 2013-11-21

Who can resist not to try this out of this world Ginataang pancit of KKK. I was not really into eating ginataan based dishes but since my friends would like to try it, I gave in. KKK's ginataang pancit is just the usual pancit we eat, the long noodles, the vegetables, the fish ball and squid balls but this time it has the distinct taste of ginataan. It was indeed delicious.

Suman at Mangga
Smile 2013-11-05

I'm not a fan of kakanin and was not easily enticed eating one. After our sumptuous meal at KKK my sister ordered their suman at mangga for desert. Well, I was quite surprised given that suman is quite heavy for a desert. But surprisingly, everybody got a taste of it and they all loved it. Out of curiosity, I tried a slice of it and I liked it. It's very tasty and manga and suman is indeed a perfect combo.

Laging Maka Pilipino
Smile 2013-10-17

 Filipiniana display

Hahaha.

KKK Pinakbet
Smile 2012-12-11
My first taste of KKK menu was when me and my family went out and was looking for a home cooked type of food. Eversince, I havent had a chance to eat at their resto again.

My friend invited me to go to mall and do some shopping. After tiring walk in the mall, we decided to have lunch and we chose KKK.

We ordered their pinakbet as one of our viand. I like how the mixture of different vegetables was laid on me. The vegetables were not overcooked and the sauce in it taste good.

Pinoy food
Smile 2012-10-11

KKK in SM City North Edsa - Annex has a lot of culinary delights to offer.
They mostly serve Filipino Dishes here. I really enjoyed most of the food that
we ordered that night because all the food tastes so rich and really really
delicious. You can enjoy these delicious treats at a price range of 150 pesos and up.
I will definitely go back to here at KKK to enjoy their good pinoy dishes

Comfortingly Filipino
Smile 2012-09-10

In searching for a place to dine with my balik-bayan aunt I use Openrice Philippines to search for the restaurants that specialize in Filipino foods. I come across KKK. I thought that the acronyms stands for the KKK that I am familiar with being a Filipina, it was far from that. A closer look at the place looks promising. The menu looks inviting.

 Good Service

The male service crews were wearing white shirts with red bandanna, black pants while the female service crews were equally garbed. The white shirts were printed with Jose Rizal’s face. They look pretty with their black apron which protects their clothes from being stained by the food that they served. Ronald Flores, this branch manager was so helpful and knows how to treat guests with kindness that my aunt overlooked the fact that the rice was served late because of some order mix-ups.

I am so taken with the innovative beer bottles stained with blue colors chandelier that hang over us. The Filipinos are really a very creative and talented race to come up with something artistic and practical.

The mini replica of a traditional Filipino couple garbed in their barong and saya looked interesting. I also took note of the jeep embossed on the napkin holders which have passengers like our national hero Jose Rizal aboard.

Nilagang Bulalo, which was served to us in a big China bowl, was filled with assorted vegetables. We all love the corn cobs, Chinese cabbage, potatoes and young corn served with this Bulalo. My aunt, who love Bagoong ordered for one. Ronald also added that their Bagoong was award winning. This I beg to disagree since I love Barrio Fiesta’s version though since it does not have that fishy odour and taste. I am allergic to such even if I love this dish, my body reacts differently.

   So Pinoy Indeed!

Ronald said that their Pinakbet was given recognition by So Pinoy, a Facebook page that recommends anything and everything top quality Filipino.

Choco Overload was a nice respite from that heavy lunch that we have. Next time I would love to try out other regional dishes as well. By the way this branch has a mini function room area where you can rent for special gatherings.

What more can I say but yes, I would be happy to go back and try some of the other meals in their menu. It would be like traveling throughout the Philippines even for just a day.

This restaurant was really worth the try. I love the interior decoration of the area. You can really feel the ambiance of Pinoy, The big jeepney is the center of attraction here. In terms of their dishes, it was a WOW! They prepared it very Filipino. I can feel that I'm home. It was lutong bahay. Perfect for every JUAN!

Had a blast with my fellow ex- officemates when we decided to have dinner together one Thursday evening. It was end of business hours when we decided to go to SM City North Edsa - Annex, North Avenue corner EDSA, Quezon City. Our choice was to eat at KKK that time. When we were there, we ordered their Sinigang na bangus Belly, Adobo ni Jake Special, at Binagoongang Lechon Kawali and all of it were amazing. you can really have a good Filipino cuisine experience. Damage to the budget will usually range from 150.00 pesos to 250.00 pesos and it is all worth it. The service is also outstanding. The crews are very fast and they can attend to the needs of their customers. I would be glad to recommend KKK in North Avenue!

I was looking for QC recommendations but found none in the first few hundred recommendations so here goes, KKK at west avenue that offers an impressive array of Filipino cuisine, with a special focus on dishes from Pampanga. They have three different kinds of sisig—including Sisig Pampanga, Bangus sisig and Veggies Sisig. The best combination with the their kare-kare and inihaw na liempo. So great that nasubukan kong kumain sa ganitong restaurant.. And I told to my daughter and family na i will bring them here at KKK.

KKK - Kataastaasang Kagalanggalangang Kainan? :)
Smile 2011-07-22
A couple of months ago, I noticed a new restaurant at the lower ground floor of Megamall Building B, --- KKK. Out of curiosity, I had to stop in front and look at their interior. They have a jeepney façade at the counter, with chandelier made of blue glass bottle, and wooden tables and chairs.

So today, at lunchtime, I decided to enter the restaurant and have my lunch there. I was greeted by the waiter with a menu. I browsed at the menu and they serve Filipino dishes. They have actually quite a variety of food to choose from. Their servings are all for sharing --- too bad I was eating alone.

I decided to order for Bangus Sisig and Rice, with Fresh Buko Juice. While waiting for my food, they served fried prawn /fish crackers. After 15 minutes, I understood why they had to do that. tongue

My Fresh Buko Juice did arrive early though, served straight from the coconut, with straw… wow… talk about fresh. smile I took a zip and the original buko juice is refreshing.

When the Bangus was served, it was really sizzling. It looks good and inviting. After taking a couple of pictures of the food for this review, I dig-in to the food with so much satisfaction. How I wish I was eating with my friends so I could have tried more dishes from their menu. I was looking over the food of the other tables and they all look delicious. lol

I was not able to finish my Bangus Sisig, so I requested to have it packed. Something this good should not be left for throwing.

I spent 300 for my lunch here and I am actually satisfied with the food and the dining experience. They also offer group meals for a set of 5 to 9 persons ranging from 1600 – 4300 depending on the number and types of food to be served. I browsed at the meal packages and the food quantity may be good for more people than what they estimated.

I guess I’ll bring my friends or family here. smile

KKK!

My girlfriend and I went out on a date at SM North Edsa. It was lunch time when we happen to passed by this restaurant with a very patriotic name; KKK! smile We decided to try out this restaurant because were both craving for Filipino food. Upon entering the restaurant you’ll immediately feel the Filipino atmosphere with its decorations and as well as the staffs which I think most of the time are dressed in Filipino attire. We ordered their sinigang and chicken. The sinigang was very good, taste like the usual sinigang at home. The chicken was also good, the skin is very crunchy and I think it is cooked in a traditional way. There are other dishes here which I think we’ll try out next time! smile

I remember that day when we went to SM North Annex to check out some accessories for my girlfriend’s laptop. We were looking for a new place to eat when we passed by KKK. We were curious and amazed at the same time at this restaurant because of its all Filipino décor. The waiters and waitresses were even dressed up in Katipunero costumes. lol

My girlfriend ordered Sinigang na Lechon, Sisig Pampanga, Sinangag Rice and Sago’t Gulaman. I was craving for Coke that day but they don’t serve sodas at all. I thought maybe they want to be consistent with the Filipino theme so I just settled for a glass of water. The Sinigang was delicious, like the home cooked sinigang that my Mom used to cook. However, it was the first time I tasted a Sisig dish which was not too crunchy. Maybe this is how they do it in Pampanga. I did not enjoy it that much. The Sinangag was good too and the gulaman was very sweet. Maybe next time, we’ll try their Filipino desserts. tongue
