Jollibee for breakfast
Smile 2011-06-22

It was a Sunday Morning, just attended mass with the whole family and my uncle decided to treat us to Jollibee since, it’s one of the fast food chains that people from abroad really miss. My uncle chose the branch near Greenmeadows for no reason; we just ended up at that branch.

We all wanted chicken, well me and my cousins that is and so they ordered a bucket of their Chicken Joy and just ordered extra rice to go with it. Since, it was early in the morning like around 8am, the chicken we ordered was definitely fresh from the fryer and tasted really crispylicious and juicylicious, just as their tag line says.

Then our aunts and uncles opted to go for their breakfast meals instead like longganisa with egg and rice and some ordered their pandesal with palaman inside it, which I never saw, what it was.

Then before I forget we all ordered a cup of their hot chocolate which was a bad idea. Their hot choco was too thick, it was hard to swallow and finish the whole thing. It felt like those concentrated juices which you need to add water to make it less thick and more enjoyable to drink.

Kiddie party with Jollibee
Smile 2010-10-06
What does every kid Chant when they pass by a Jolibee Joint? "I want Chicken Joy", "I want spaghetti" and the occasional adult chant "I'm craving for 2pc chicken joy and lotsa gravy" lollol.

So, my parents decided to celebrate my little brother's birthday at Jollibee located at Libis near Green Meadows since, it was near from where we live and the place looked big compared to other jolibee branches. They also had a patio, nice place to hangout and just good for other guests that want to have their meal outside.

As soon as we arrived, the guests had to register their names and where provided with green round stickers ( I think it was for the headcount). Then as soon as everyone arrived, the party started with the MC introducing the Birthday Celebrant. Then started the games, which were mostly Bring Me games which brings back a lot of memories. It is so funny at such parties like this, it seems like the adults have more fun playing the Bring Me game than the kids hahalol. And besides the things the MC asks to bring are one Dollar Bill, longest belt, driver's license, etc. Then, after that, they had games for the the gents, at first I was wondering why just the guys, it just ended that way haha.

So the game for the gents was to draw a face. The trick to it, the illustration board needs to be on your face then the MC would give the instructions on what to draw first. It was actually not really a game it became more of entertainment as soon as they started drawing funny faces because they could not see what they were drawing.

The drawings were so hilarious as some faces were really distorted, the eyes were too far apart, the mouth was below the chin and all that. The MC had other games that were played with the kids and after all that running and jumping and shouting everyone was starving and really craving for Chicken Joy.But before that, it was time to blow the cake(the cake came from Jollibee as well but it was made by Red Ribbon, as they are now partners).

In just a couple of minutes the food was being served, the adults had 1 piece chicken with rice and spaghetti then for the kids they had spaghetti and 1 piece chicken joy. While everyone was eating Jollibee the mascot arrived and boy was he entertaining I mean really entertaining. It was my first time to actually see a very jolly Jollibee haha.Everyone had such a blast with the Mascot and he really would just grab someone to dance with him and I was one of his victims hahaha. I had to dance with him to the song Nobody Nobody by the Wonder Girls and it was a lot of fun. Everyone begged Jollibee to stay a little longer because he really entertained both kids and adults.

Suddenly, I would want to celebrate my birthday at Jollibee if it was going to be this fun and brings back the kid in everyone. Plus, the mascot looked less scary to the younger kids since he knew how to make them laugh instead of scare them with his big bobbing head.

you rock\m/ Jollibee!hahaha lollol
