House of Minis

My wife and I loves to Dine at House of Minis because we find their steaks delicious and the ambiance in the restaurant is really nice plus the staffs are friendly.

Aside from that, we like their set menus for their steaks which we find the price just enough with all that goes with it. Upon arrival, waiters will serve you hot bread with butter.Then followed by the soup of the day, which for us is Asparagus.Porterhouse regular (meal), Php 470.00

Then a sizzling porterhouse steak was served garnished with potatoes.And to complete our dining experience, an ube ice cream was served for dessert.

I have been going to this place ever since I was in grade school and I still remember everyone getting all excited because we'll be having steaks again.

But apart from the budget-friendly steaks, you simple have to try their appetizers that are as affordable, and taste really good. I like the sizzling mussels they're still really flavorful. They're not as big as I'd like though... but they're still really good.

Sizzling Angus, Php 470.00

On my first visit at House of Minis, I ordered their Sizzling Angus Meal. The complete Meal is served on sizzling plate with caramelized onion toppings, soup of the day, salad, dinner rolls and dessert. During our visit, the soup of the day is asparagus soup. The soup is very tasty for starter preparing you for next set of the meal which is the dinner rolls served with butter. The rolls are very tasty even without butter and is served hot. Then the sizzling angus is served. I really like this meal because i want my food hot. The meat was very tender and the potato and veggies served with it complete the meal.. And to top it all, my meal ended with ube homemade ice cream which is equally delicious.

French Onion Rings, Php 85.00

Our second appetizer during our dinner at house of minis is the French Onion Rings. Just like their french fries, its also the typical onion rings you can find on any restaurant. There's nothing special about this appetizer. It is white onion coated with breading, fried then served with catsup. It is a lesson learned for us the next time we dine to not order appetizer.

French Fried Potato, Php 85.00

It's our friends' wedding anniversary and they decided to celebrate it with us. During the past years, they always dine at House of Minis along C5.

It's my first time to dine there. For starters, we ordered the French Fried Potato. Well, nothing is special about this dish. It's the typical potato cut into thin slices, fried and then served with catsup.

Im looking for a place where can I eat not american cuisine dishes like steaks and then I recall House of Minis in Eulogio Rodriguez Jr. Ave (C-5), Pasig City, Ortigas. This is a very popular place for steaks and a lot of hear says that this place serves huge sizzling steaks. Then I ried their T-Bone Steaks a prime cuts served sizzling with soup of the day, salad, dinner rolls and dessert for only three hundred five pesos. Im so excited to eat it that time but Im still waiting for the hotness subside. I ate first the fries and then at last the steak. I have it well done, the steak was so delicious and juicy and tender. It was soft and I couldnt imagine the taste. The taste was bursting in my mouth. I was truly amazed on this place and I would love to come back again here.

Personal Review Usual traffic on the way home from work so we decided to have some dinner. We stopped at the House of Minis and I was surprised to learn that they had more parking spaces inside the ground area. I thought the parking was limited to the front part

We went up the second floor dining area and it was a bit dark so we really had to watch our steps. I ordered the Tenderloin while Hubby got the T-Bone. Our meals came with soup, salad, dinner rolls and dessert. Not bad! The soup was watery, it was supposed to be cream of mushroom soup but I didn't see the creaminess of it The dinner rolls I love, especially with butter. I even asked for my husband's share. The rolls were mini but soft and delicious. The steaks arrived sizzling hot and the waiter poured the gravy for me. The plate sizzled more and the aroma was so enticing! I dug in my steak with gusto, it was tender, with just a hint of fat. A bit overcooked but still good. What the soup lacked in creaminess, it was all in the gravy

My husband's T-Bone steak was also great. His was cooked perfectly so it was easier to cut and the juices were flowing from the inside of his steak. A really satisfying meal, but, we still had dessert! It was buko pandan and really sweet and tasty. It's also my husband's favorite native dessert.

We will definitely come back here for more steak meals.

PHP 350(Dinner)

I love steak but premium rib-eyes cost too much so when I'm having cravings but want to save money, I come to the not-fancy steakhouses like this one. The 1000+ steaks from other restaurants is only 300php here. Though the steak seems to be lacking of something, you can ask for seasoning or you may ask for more flavor to it. Their steaks are tender and juicy. The soup is so-so, it's just like those instant soups you find in the grocery. The bread however is palatable. The salad I don't like. The ambiance and the service, ugh.

Whenever we celebrate my parent's anniversary, we usually go to family friendly restaurants such as House of Minis. Never did we had a problem with their food nor their service.

Bread, Soup and coleslaw were mandatory whenever you order an item from their menu. The problem being the coleslaw which was too generic for my taste. There were no desserts that came with the steaks so you would have to order if you want one.

The steaks are tasty although I haven't tried any of their rare cooking since I usually have my steaks well done. Side dishes include the ordinary french fries and the conventional vegetables. Their steaks were incomparable to other steak houses since they don't serve significantly large pieces. Last, the prices were inexpensive for a restaurant that caters steaks.

Their branch in Pasig has a cozy ambiance. First thing I've noticed was the wooden finish then the dim litted rooms. Tables were clean, clothed and conveniently spaced in between each other. Parking was never a problem because there's ample space at the back which was also guarded round the clock.

Staff were courteous and were available most of the time. You won't be having unnecessary waiting times the moment you order or subsequently order.
