Welcome to the Christian World Sophie!

I'm lucky I was invited! I remember that we didn't witness the christening but we're FIRST at the reception. The family reserved one function room that can accommodate I think at 50-60 visitors. It's a cozy room to have a family event. It's a per table set of foods, starting from appetizer (peanuts & soup) to the main dishes and of course the desserts. I didn't captured all the dishes but one thing's for sure, they were delicious. smile

There is nothing like eating delicious Chinese food and that is exactly what happened on this glorious day because we were treated to some luscious food from Dragon Gate. We ordered a cold cuts, lamb chops and lobster with garlic plus a bunch of softdrinks. I can't wait to get back here even though the place is far from our home. I hope we will celebrate an occasion here in the future because the food is good.

Making special celebrations extra special

I discovered this place from my sister and I've always loved dining here. Their hot shrimp salad and crispy pork shreds are a must-try! I love how crunchy and flavorful (at hindi nakakasawa) their crispy pork shreds are. I always remember that this appetizer fills me even before the main course arrives because I just can't get enough of it. The hot shrimp salad is both light and filling. Some eat it as an appetizer while some prefer eating it with their meal or afterwards.

One can also enjoy their wide selection of seafood. My young cousin enjoys watching the live shrimps, lobsters and crabs as we wait for our food to be served. Siguradong fresh and masarap ang pagkain! Even the Yang Chow Rice can be eaten without any viand pero siyempre mas masarap pag complete smile

One of the dishes I always order is their Spicy Jelly Fish and Century Egg. Very good with Ginger Chicken!

Their peking duck in tortilla wrap dipped in the sauce is to die for. It will definitely make you crave for more.

The place is big enough to accommodate many customers and their staff are very accommodating. I love the authentic Chinese ambiance.

I am so glad that they serve hot tea to make room for more food inside my tummy. This place is really worth it! lol

Enter the Dragon's Feast
Smile 2011-12-28
Dragon Gate Seafood Restaurant (Pasay)

Ingat palagi. Godbless. smile

Jamie treated us in Dragon Gate Seafood Restaurant , It is a Chinese restaurant that serves unique and delicious chinese food. For his birthday, We ordered a lot of food Yangchow rice, lemon Chicken , Calamares, Beef Brisket and more. It was a meal like there is no more tomorrow. Surprisingly he only pay for less while we are all expecting for a big bill. The service is also great and the ambiance as well – very Chinese with big round tables all over the place.

For the love of Mixed Meat :-)
Smile 2011-06-21
Revisiting Dragon Gate to satisfy my mixed meat cravings

This sushi like fried oyster appetizer started the dinner in the right (yummy) note!

I usually just like my crabs simply steamed, deep fried or cooked with loads of garlic till I had this...Crabs steamed with 3 kinds of eggs (century, salted and regular egg). One of my DG favorites.

Of course, no meal in Dragon gate is complete without my favorite mixed meat with sesame seed roll dish :-P This dish actually reminds me of a favorite dish in the HK Springdeer resto of yesteryears.

A still unnamed new experimental dish that tasted like Hot and Sour Crab Soup…

Just discovered this yummy veg dish last night.Polonchai w/ 3 eggs.

Poling Fried Rice

Steamed Lapu-lapu

A real good version of buchi!
