About this Restaurant: From our fathers we learned values. One of them is the importance of not wasting one’s food. The fatherly admonition, "eat your food and clean your plate" serves as a loving reminder to all of us. A father's legacy worth heeding. In honor of fathers, DADS opened in 1993 and became an instant success. Specializing then in continental cuisine, DADS introduced the No-Left-over Buffet 50% off rate, making it the home of the eat-all-you-can concept. It's the start of really great and bountiful buffet. As continental cuisine became more and more popular, DADS started featuring regularly different food festivals, e.g. Italian, Mexican, French, American and a lot more. DADS gathers all of these in one great, worldwide cuisine presentation. It gives the guests the most number of choices and a delectable tour to the rich cultures of the world.

   Maki stand

As a father, my appetite grew larger than when I was single and so I also grew larger physically. Having said that, I am really fond of buffets such as Dad's and Kamayan's buffet. For less than 500 pesos, my big appetite was satisfied. My daughter even jokingly told me that Dad's is her Dad's favorite (hence, the title of the review). Food here are delicious and has a lot of variety.

complete experience

In DADS, it is always a complete dining experience.

From Filipino Cuisine, American Cuisine and Japanese Cuisine, they have it all and more.

They also have delicious desserts. lol

May it be Filipino favorite desserts to cakes to ice creams and many many more lol

My top 3 favorites would be the GINATAANG KUHOL, Crab Sticks and Hamonado...

I love the taste of the ginataang kuhol because it is very milky, creamy, a bit spicy and gingery. lol

The kuhol is also chewy and delicious.

On the other hand, the crab sticks are very soft and tasty.

And lastly, their hamonado is totally amazing. It is meaty and sweet. lol

All you can eat Dads!
Smile 2012-10-09
Our team decided to eat here as a celebration for all the agents who targeted their quotas. We had a great dined in experienced here in DADS at 207 EDSA, Greenhills, Greenhills. Our dinner was filled of laughter and great food and the food here was very satisfying. We cant afford to eat all the dishes that we saw. You will only choose those dishes that are not that common to eat. We enjoyed the dishes very well and as much as we wanted to eat more my stomach was aching already. The sad part is i didnt tasted some other dishes, how i wish to eat all of them. The place was huge and full with guests and the best part of it is they also play music that will help you to enjoy your food. The place was so so great and will surely satisfy your cravings.

Dad's for Dad

Dinner treat for my dad only at DAD's!

   There's always Lechon!

   Meat and Seafood!

Price Php 695 for Weekend Dinner

Description Buffet with roast meat and seafood selections

Personal Description Dad's is truly the ultimate buffet! I remember when I was younger and this was the first place I have ever eaten a buffet. I was amazed at how many food selections there were. It really pays to be hungry when you go to a Dad's buffet. Never mind that the price is expensive, some the food here can only be found in Dad's Buffet.

I love their carving station where they offer Ham, Roast Beef and my personal favorite, Turkey! Where else can you get turkey slices in the Philippines? lol Dad's Appetizers are also great, they have cold cuts and canapes, if you choose the cross over buffet with Saisaki, you can sample their deliciously fresh sushi and sashimi items.

Dad's also offers a make your ow salad counter. They have fresh lettuce leaves, corn, tomatoes, cucumbers, and various dressings to choose from. I love making a lettuce and corn salad with thousand island dressing and topped with sliced egg and cheese.

Dad's Paella is also a must try, it's loaded with seafood and delicious rice simmered in tomato sauce. They also offer lots of seafood dishes such as grilled squid. This is great but I like the meat selections best.

For dessert, they have ice cream where you can scoop your own flavors and place toppings. They also have several small square cut pastries and cakes. The best part for me is the fondue!

Lunch Out in Dads
Smile 2012-06-05
Price: P 565

Description: All you can eat buffet

Personal Review: It’s Friday again and, already becoming a tradition, our team heads to our bi-weekly lunch out. Our destination? Dads in Ortigas, a few minutes drive from our office. As expected, a lot of people are already there so we have to wait for a large table to be available for our group. It didn’t take long enough and before we knew it we were munching to a lot of delicious foods like roasted chicken, sushi, chopseuy and a lot more. The price is reasonable enough since we were able to get the most out of it as evident from our satisfied and smiling faces on the attached photo.

Eat all you can PART II
Smile 2011-07-25
If you are craving for a Food Trip, Dads, Kamayan, Saisaki is the place to be.
In West Ave, valet parking is FREE. (Very convenient for customers who are really hungry to park their cars).
If you will go here, I suggest you avail of their DAD’s ULTIMATE BUFFET which includes Kamayan and Saisaki already. They serve Filipino dishes, Japanese foods, all kinds of desserts and many more.
They also have Musicians & singers at night who roam around the restaurant and serenade the visitors.
After eating, the service crew would give you simple tokens of appreciation for you to take home. (These would be stuff toys etc.)
Truly a wonderful experience for food lovers.

dads!
Smile 2011-03-25
When you hear of dad’s kasunod na agad ang kamayan at saisaki. Kapag kumain ka dito kailangan gutom ka talaga dahil ang no left over price nila ay nasa around 645 pesos na. siguro, okay kumain dito kung may celebration kayo ng family or friends because I don’t think its practical to dine in here everyday.

Well, I hope not. I tried questioning them pero they denied it e. so pinabayaan ko nalang. pinalitan din nila. Good karma nalang for me.
