City Buffet Restaurant

City Buffet for the part two of our mother's day celebration
this time courtesy of my sister. We wanted to make Mother's Day that specially
that we planned to do it not just once

We had a very nice buffet dinner after we casts our votes for the Election 2013.
We went to City buffet the one located at Robinson's Galleria.
The restaurant was spacious enough, there are plenty of different dishes to choose
from, diners like me who love experimenting will never run out of choices to eat.
it's exactly what my plate is trying to show you, there's a pizza
a sushi and meat and everything i wanted to try was on my plate.

The food were great, it's delicious and not just average. My whole family
enjoyed our 2nd leg of mother's day.

Since most big malls were jampacked the day after Christmas, we decided to just go to a small/medium sized mall, Robinsons Galleria. We started the afternoon by waiting in a long line to get movie tickets for one of the MMFF movies. After the movie we decided to look for new food establishments and we stumbled upon City Buffet which was just across the cinemas.

It was again a small buffet that offered the usuals: salad, pasta, carvings, sushi, desserts, etc. There was actually not much to choose from so I got a plate of shrimp tempura to start off. I found it funny that their carving station was separated and very small, that it was really unnoticeable. I only got a glimpse of it when I was planning to get a serving of dessert.
What topped up our night was when the head chef sent us a plate with a small brownie and message! Definitely a funny and happy experience!

City Buffet

Oh My goodness! This was one of the greatest pigging out i ever had
in my life. i dined in at City buffet and i almost killed myself to happiness
eating all the desserts that i can. There are ice creams, cakes, leche flan, and a lot
lot more. it was like a heaven for me.
I'm overwhelmed seeing all those sweets in fornt of me, and i can't even remember
how many times i went back and forth to the counter to refill plate.
really the best dessert adventure of mine.

There are so many buffet restaurants in our country. You can find it anywhere. City buffet restaurant has the feel of deluxe restaurant that everything in there is expensive. The ambiance is appealing and fascinating. The staffs will welcome you with big smile in their face, it is like assuring you that you will have a great time in their restaurant and you will be satisfied with all the foods in their menu. When I already choose the table where I will be having my lunch, I was again captivated by the lighting nad the furniture there that makes me so relax and made me feel at home. What I ate first was this sea food which is one of my favorite for lunch. I love the way it is cooked because it is just enough, not raw not over cooked which is usually my kind of problem when it comes to dish like this.

I chanced upon this fairly new restaurant on the 4th level of Robinsons Galleria, Ortigas. I noticed that City Buffet had the similar interiors to this place I've been to - Buffet 101 located at Seaside Boulevard parallel to SM Mall of Asia. Turns out, the City Buffet is actually a sister company of Yakimix AND Buffet 101. The interiors were so beautiful there were chandeliers overhead, mirrors everywhere, cylindrical vases filled with different fruits, everything was pretty well thought of. City Buffet is definitely a luxury buffet for everyone. I would definitely recommend this place for parties, special occasions and banquets. Their food choices range from Japanese, Chinese, Italian, American Cuisine and so much more. I'll definitely bring my sister here on her birthday.
