Cellos-my topping list!
Smile 2013-02-13

Aside from buying amazing doughnuts from J.Co, Cello's Doughnuts and Dips in Sky Garden SM City North Edsa North Avenue cor. Edsa, Quezon City is also one of my topping list!

When I visit their branch in Katipunan Quezon City, it was my first time. Just last time, I was able to get the chance to visit their Sky Garden SM City North Edsa North Avenue cor. Edsa Quezon City branch.

I liked their Oreo Stuffed a lot which costs around 32.00 php. However, I liked their M&M Stuffed a lot better, but its price is also doubled. But despite that, I find it all worth it.

I will surely come back in here and try their other delicious treats.

   cute design

My guy friend want something to give to his girlfriend for their monthsary. I accompanied him. The staff of Cello's is helpful. He guided us through the process of picking a design worthy of his girlfriend. The cheesiest they can think of is "I love you".

There are a lot of good things you can say about Cello. First of all, their doughnuts are amazing. They are delicious. However, they are too sweet for my taste buds. You can distribute one piece among your friends so that you can decrease the calories you intake. They have a lot of choices for you.

Donut Cocktails
Smile 2012-11-30

Cello's Donut Cocktails...mini donuts with assorted flavors such as oreo, chocolate, cheese peanut butter, strawberry, etc. The cocktail size is enough for our family of six members to taste different flavors all in one box. It is such a good dessert or snack. The kids prefer this donut cocktails because it is easier to be eaten. There's the right sweetness in every bite and easier to hold.

Cello's Dark Chocolate Almonds Doughnut FTW!
Smile 2012-11-27

We had a meeting last Friday at Cello's and 'twas my first time to taste Cello's doughnut. I don't eat a lot of sweets but I love Dark Chocolate and Almonds smile that's why I ordered Cello's Dark Chocolate Almond Doughnut - For the Win! Plus the softness of the dough makes the entire doughnut, PERFECT!

PS: I like the love songs that was being played in the store while were having a meeting. Haha!

Tea time with doughnuts
Smile 2012-11-26

Had a great time with my friends at Cello's in SM North last November 19. We tried different flavors, I bought Blueberry Cream Cheese and it was absolutely delicious! I would highly recommend you to try it because it tastes divine! The blueberry matches really well with the cheese and the sweetness and the saltiness are well balanced. I have to admit, it's one of the best tasting doughnuts I've tried and it only cost me Php 38! smile

The size was ok, it wasn't too small but it wasn't big either. Some would probably feel bitin with just one doughnut but I paired mine with tea bought from another store so it was just right for me lol

I totally enjoyed my date with my barkada! Next time I want to try their oreo stuffed and cheese stuffed doughnuts because I heard it’s some of their best sellers.

Oreo Choco Filled.
Smile 2012-09-23

I had a great time with my friend when we last visited Cello's Doughnuts and Dips. If you have not been here yet, I would recommend for you to come and try their amazing and delicious doughnuts! You can visit one of their stall at the Sky Garden SM City North Edsa North Avenue corner in EDSA, Quezon City. I would highly recommend for you to try their Oreo Choco Filled Doughnut and you can enjoy this for as low as 32.00 php and it is definitely worth it. I wanted to try their other treats, but I did not get the chance. Next time, I surely will when I come back to Cello's Doughnuts and Dips.

I'm sorry...
Smile 2012-09-20

When your girlfriend got terribly mad at you, what will you do to make her forgive you? If you will ask me, of course, I will not just spit the words “I am sorry”. I will think of a creative, sweet, cute and sincere way to make her feel that I am really sorry. I went to SM North Edsa (near her place) to grab something unique. I got hungry and saw this donut store- Cello’s Doughnuts & Dips. I tried Choco oreo donut and I liked it. It wasn’t that sweet. Then, I saw their menu that they have letter doughnuts but it’s made to order. So, I ordered for donuts saying, “I’m sorry babe”. I’m so lucky because aside from the fact that it’s cheap, they also deliver. I asked them to call me as soon as they have delivered. After she got the doughnuts, I went to her place to personally say sorry. I was shocked when I saw the box because all that’s left were these…

Expressive Doughnuts
Smile 2012-09-14

One thing that I love about food, is that it not only satisfies our hunger, but lightens us up whenever we had a bad day. This is what I realized when my hubby, who was my boyfriend at that time, and I had a slight misunderstanding. He was thinking of unique ways on how to say he's sorry for what happened. There is this doughnut place at SM North Edsa that gave him an idea on what to do. Cello's doughnuts has an innovative way of turning food into expressions of what we feel. Instead of the usual round doughnuts, theirs is shaped like letters. So for a certain amount, you can say what you've been meaning to say by this opening a box of Cello's doughnuts. Thanks, Cello's!

Message in a Doughnut
Smile 2012-07-27

A special thank you gift for my roommates before I graduated, I had these THANK YOU doughnuts be especially made at Cello's. I've visited their Sky Garden branch because of a friend, ordered the Oreo doughnut, and man, I've never tasted doughnuts these good. Another thing that I like about Cello's Doughnuts are the fact that they serve the doughnuts warm, almost as if freshly baked. It's not too sweet and the dough is just right.

If I remember it right, this box cost below P400. The doughnuts were priced by the number of letters and I had the option to choose the flavors that I want. Cello's doughnuts are great for snacks, as pasalubongs, and even gifts just like what I did! You can even compose a short message with these great tasting doughnuts like "I Love You!" or "Happy Birthday!" tongue

   For my awesome roommates.

hubby's pasalubong
Smile 2012-03-31

I can say that Cello’s is a local style doughnut compare to others. Yesterday, my hubby bought me cello’s doughnuts. It was not my first time to try their breads but I would always love to try a different one. I love their cheese and chocnut flavour doughnuts. Good thing was, they served affordable breads perfect for tight budget.

 Doughnuts on Display

The only Doughnut Shop that I know that sells doughnuts with dips.

   Oreo Choco Filled

Price: P32

Description: Old-fashioned doughnut covered with Oreo cookie crumble with chocolate filling inside the doughnut.

Personal Review: The doughnut itself is soft and not at all stale. It may look that this type of doughnut is sweet because of the crushed Oreo cookie scattered on top of the cookie but it's not. The gooey chocolate inside the doughnut was okay. I mean I'll still enjoy eating this even without the chocolate filling.

 Cello's Doughnuts and Dips

It's been a long time since I have last eaten Cello's Doughnut. Sky Garden is such a pretty place to go to because almost all your cravings can be seen in just one strip. smile

My friend and I just had lunch and we couldn't decide what sort of dessert we want to get. When I saw Cello's, I know now what to get.

There were a lot of flavors available that made it difficult for me to choose. The attendant was kind enough to assist me by suggesting the best-selling flavors.

   Oreo Choco Filled

I finally picked Oreo Choco Filled (P35). The doughnut is covered with crushed Oreo cookies. Inside the doughnut has gooey chocolate.

I give five spoons for this flavor because despite the chocolate overload, it wasn't that sweet because the dough or the bread that they used was soft and didn't have sprinkled sugar or any sort of sweetener therefore all the ingredients blended well. I think this will taste even better with Brewed Coffee. tongue

NEW FOUND LOVE
Smile 2012-02-28

Aside from those famous donuts we knew here in the metro, I also like the taste of Cellos donuts. It’s a different kind of donut because of lots of flavors they offer to the customers. Yesterday, my sister brought me a dozen of cellos donut. I was so surprised because I didn’t expect it. Most of the time, she would buy me krispy kreme. I was really happy that she brought me this kind of pasalubong. I enjoyed our donut bonding.

Music In Our Mouth
Smile 2011-11-01

After a tiring day around the mall, it was time for some snacks. We were craving for something sweet so we decided to go to Cello's Doughnuts and Dips, a small doughnut shop at the SM Sky Garden.

The place could only occupy a few and we were lucky to get seats. They had a nice display of varios mouthwatering doughnuts and had a hard time choosing.

We asked for their bestsellers and they suggested for us to try the Blueberry Cream Cheese and Oreo Doughnut. The blueberry one had loads of berries, striped with creamy, rich and flavorful cream cheese - a great combination! The oreo doughnut was sweet and crunchy, smelled nice too!

Then we also ordered the Choc-nut Cha-Cha, a chocnut doughnut with vanilla ice cream, whipped cream, drizzled with chocolate syrup and topped with more crushed chocnut. It tasted as great as it sounded! It was both hot and cold which is nice, salty and sweet, also a very tasty pairing!

Our craving for sweet was really satisfied! Cello's doughnuts are fantastic snack choices! Would come back for more! bowl

They did it again
Smile 2011-09-20

I accompanied my friend to look for a customized cake for her one-month-old nephew. She needed the cake today dinner time because it is also her sister's (the mommy of her nephew) birthday. They planned to have a one celebration. smile

 Cello's Menu

Unfortunately, most of the bakeshops that cater customized cakes need like three days. She was about to lose hope when I told her why not buy Alphabet Doughnuts from Cello's Doughnuts and Dips wherein they can spell out her nephew's name in their delightful flavors. tongue

   Cello's Donuts

I was glad that she liked my idea. And to make matters much better, they only need one day in advance to order their Alphabet Doughnuts that only cost P45 each letter and not be limited to just glazed flavor only because you can choose from all of their flavors.

   Dark Chocolate with Almonds

While waiting, I can't helped but notice their "chocolate flavored" doughnuts. I ordered their Dark Chocolate with Almonds (P32). It was delicious. Four spoons for this doughnut because the doughnut itself is not at all sweet. When I was able to taste the dark chocolate, it was perfect. I know I had better doughnuts but other doughnuts were too sweet to handle therefore I get to taste just one. Much as I want to help myself to taste their other flavors, I opted not to anymore. But with Cello's, I regret that I didn't buy two or three more doughnuts.
