Buffet 101

Our buffet craze has intrigued our relatives. So for the first weekend of December my aunt planned to treat me and my cousins to Buffet 101 in the newly opened Robinsons Magnolia. Since it was a reservation for dinner we had to arrive early, before 6:00pm to be exact.

We began enjoying our unlimited food and drinks as soon as we got inside the restaurant. The only design that caught my eye were the nice chandeliers, aside from that there was nothing to vibrant about the place. The buffet was very typical, serving the top 3 cuisines: Filipino, Japanese and Chinese. The food for me was quite blunt and not too much choices compared to their competitors. At least their service was great, which is always a plus point for me!

PHP 1000(Dinner)

It was my sister's birthday that day and we all decided that we had to try the Buffet 101 branch at Robinsons Magnolia in New Manila. It was a fairly new mall but I bet they spread the word so much it was like all the people of Aurora were inside the mall! It was really amazing that the place was packed with people! Buffet 101 was also quite full, but thank God it wasn't too crowded! We were able to have such a nice and fun filled dinner! The Japanese cuisine and all the other cuisines were really 5 star. Top notch. Loved it. We'll be back again and again!

We knew we were going to be waiting for a while when we decided to go to Buffet 101, Robinson's Magnolia for Valentine's dinner. That is alright for us because we missed the buffet here so much.I got some newly cooked tempura and pizza. Their pasta balls topped with shrimp on top was one of the highlights of the buffet.My first plate contained a lot of food including roast beef, risotto and a lot of dimsum.When we were finally given our seats, we were informed that there were no more swahe. It is a good thing they were wrong because there were a few more left for us.

I can't wait to come back here.

PHP 950(Dinner)

Rejille and I decided to go to buffet 101 in robinson's magnolia. It's quite popular actually because it has a lot

of customers inside the restaurant. The setting of the restaurant is just the same as those on the other branches

of buffet 101. We've gone to have lunch there after we our classes. The price for their lunch buffet is about 600.00

to 700.00 pesos which is quite affordable compared to the dinner buffet which is around 1000.00 pesos but the

food at that time is much more elegant and satisfying. I love their food. Their fresh and hot of the tray and they look really appetizing. Their dumplings are really good and

the spring rolls are just to die for. All their food looks so good and they don't disappoint their customers both on

presentation and taste. Thumbs up for buffet 101.

I can't believe my eyes when I first saw Buffet 101 at Robinsons Magnolia. I could finally come to this place more often because it is much nearer. Since they were at a soft opening, they gave 10% off of the total bill. Since our total bill was 1900, it was down to 1710. That was a big discount considering the quality of food in the buffet.The Chinese section was awesome especially with a ton of dimsum and swahe which is Chinese for steamed shrimp. There is even a live shrimp aquarium because that is how swahe is cooked. It is supposed to be fresh and it does not disappoint because it is very delicious. My date told me there was actually hakaw there but I did not notice it which was a shame because it is my favorite dimsum second to machang.

I saw someone wearing a Yakimix t-shirt come in the restaurant which led me to conclude they are sister companies. However, the taste of the buffet in the restaurant is so much superior to the buffet at Yakimix. I will definitely go back to Buffet 101 soon.
