Going Spanish
Just OK 2013-01-31

Spanish cuisine is not really my things but I tried it anyways. When we were at Beso Cucina Vinoteka with some family members and relatives, I had no choice but to try and taste what was before. To my surprise, it's not that disappointing at all eventhough I don't like Spanish dishes, I actually enjoyed the meal and I wanted to try more. I had a great time tasting everything and my stay was worth the time.

Soups and sangria
Smile 2013-01-18
My sister and I really love hanging out here because of their sangrias. Yes, they serve really good sangrias, coupled with fruits and tapas.

The last time we went here I was feeling a little sick and the waiter recommended that I try their soups because they're comforting and they really fill you up. And he was right. I was feeling better right after, and so ready for the sangrias! tongue

Authentically Spanish
Smile 2012-11-20
My family and I have been looking for a place that serves quality Spanish food. For some reason, we have a fascination for tapas and I can say that we have a rather pricey "hobby". tongue

So when this place opened, we couldn't wait to try it. Friends have told me that they have unlimited sangria and they excited me all the more. The place was really nice and it really was somewhere where you can chill with a glass of sangria. Their tapas were really good and we're now anticipating our next trip there.

Paellas
Smile 2012-09-17
I'm not that much of a fan when it comes to mixed rice or anything like it. So when my family decided that they would want some paellas for dinner, I was a bit skeptical. I didn't know how to go about it, and I was fervently hoping that there were more choices.

And my prayers were definitely answered. Plus the Paellas were not so bad either. Pair them with the place's signature Sangrias, and you can guarantee yourself a really good night. And do not forget the croquettes and their chorizo... those are the ingredients you'll need to have a nice Spanish-inspired family bonding night.

Paella for dinner
Just OK 2012-08-01

 menu book

   paella

price: 580.00

Description: Paella Rice with different seafoods.

Personal Review: We had our family dinner at Beso Cucina Vinoteka branch in Boni High St. in Fort Bonifacio. This happened after we meet with my friends in Mckinley Hill. This restaurant is a fine dine in and serves a wide variety of food choices. The place is cozy and decent. They had good sets of chairs and tables.

I ordered for paella rice. It is a mixture of rice and different seafoods. This is very tasty and the serving is very big. Iy is already good for the 4 of us. It costs us 580 pesos for this order. The service is quick and the staffs always wears a smile everytime they serve the customers.

The Lure of Beso Cucina Vinteka and its Sangrias
Smile 2012-05-30
Read full feature here: http://www.lynne-enroute.com/2012/05/10/en-route-beso-cucina-vinoteka-sangria-and-tapas-bar-bonifacio-high-street-central-fort-bonifacio-global-city-taguig-philippines/

It seems like the Metro Manila foodie landscape is starting to appreciate the finer and more upscale gastronomic experience. What with the opening of the Bonifacio High Street Central, sparking an appetite to try something new while living out the cosmopolitan lifestyle that the relatively young working class work for through their hard earned money.

The splurge all pays off, though, with a demand for exploring deeper into already known cuisines mutually supplied by the local chefs who are eager to show what else is in store for the taste buds.

Such seems to be the case with Spanish tapas bars and their latest offerings of a variety of sangria blends. In the Bonifacio High Street Central, Beso CucinaVinoteka stands out for such offerings.

Beso Cucina Vinoteka promises to be the modern Spanish version of a sophisticated watering hole, with wines, cocktails, spirits, and food creations.

While there are other wine places and tapas bars within walking distance, the new ambiance of Beso will probably be what will attract the crowd.

Now these pictures were taken quite early in February of 2012, so a lot of things may have changed, like their wine list which was promised to be respectably extensive over the coming months.

It was proving to be one of those nights where not much food is on the table to leave room for more wine and other cocktails (which is really the norm here in En Route) and croquetas was ordered to fulfill the cheesy fix. This one in particular, a Jamon, Chicken and Manchego Croquetas (PHP 410.00) had the savory flavors of Jamon Iberico, complemented by a filling texture of chicken into the creamy finish of manchego cheese.

Light meals are associated with fish such as the Crispy Skin Salmon Fillet with Cauliflower Puree, Zucchini, Raisins, and Pine Nuts (PHP 520.00). This one was quite ok. It is recommended to try to other main entrees as each one gives a different flavor when paired with a certain wine.

And for dessert? This one can pique your interest: A twist on the familiar sight of leche flan, but this time made with chocolate with sherry contained in its syrupy glaze (PHP 250.00). It can be difficult to justify such an amount for what some may consider just a fancy leche flan.

Still, remember that such gastronomic varieties using more than the usual ingredients is what makes its flavor interesting.

If you are not here for the food, then defnitely be here for what they do best: The Sangrias. Beso Cucina Vinoteka offers a few of their own mixes, and this one containing a vodka base instead of the traditional brandy based sangria is one of the most refreshing ones out there. The heaviness of brandy is replaced by the neutral flavor of vodka with some squeeze of fresh fruits. It’s like a Spanish summer breeze with every sip.

Be careful. It is deceptively addicting. The refreshing fruity taste can mask its alcoholic properties. This particular order was gulped up in nothing more than 25 minutes, so imagine the comical antics of an imbibed couple, where polite greetings of acquaintances seen along the way are replaced by condescending lectures that their sports car is illegally parked along the curb of Bonifacio High Street.

True story

You can see how the lure of Beso Cucina Vinoteka, with its fresh take on Spanish cuisine and even livelier mix of wine and sangrias can become the mainstay choice of the goers of Bonifacio High Street. Give them a visit and see where the experience takes you.

Smile 2012-05-23
I got to win from a Food Magazine the price of P6K GC from Beso Cucina Vinoteka for 2. The condition of 2 person kept me thinking how expensive are the food. Even try to call them and negotiate for additional person but they refuse. So I have to make reservation for 2 on May 17,2012.

Beso Cucina Vinoteka at night. Located at Bonifacio High Street, The Fort, Taguig.
Operating Hour : Monday-Saturday : 11am-2:30am
Sunday : 11am- 12mn
Cuisine : Spanish
Please Note: They say they don't allow take out

The interior of Beso Cucina Vinoteka cozzy; they mostly cater to employee in the surrounding area and mostly we see are lady employees.

The kitchen was well lighted.

The all meat Paella. Price : P580.00 for 2 person. The Beef on top of the Paella is medium rare and quite delicious for person like me who do not eat half cook meat

Beso Paella, Price : P580.00 for 2 person. Consist of Pork, Bacon, Prawn, Mussel, clams and bacon. I can really say they use the best and the biggest.

Crispy fried Calamari with Chili lime Aioli, Price : P280.00 Really crispy on the outside.

Lamb Shanks Braised ti Tomato, Pepper, Chorizo and Chick Peas with Rice Pilaf. Price : P780.00. The lamb shank is really super tender that by using you spoon the meat already fall down from the bones. Delicious

Grilled US Angus Rib eye on a hot plate with with mustard butter and Potato ala porbre (was not able to get a picture of it) Price : P1,480.00 The most pricey items in the menu. The beef is super tender but not that lean but a bit oily because of the butter

There is also the bread with extra virgin olive oil. The above mention items were all dine in. My daughter have to negotiate with them about the balance in the GC since it's not 6 pcs P1K GC. Finally they agree on a take out only all paella ( rice) and the Fideo (pasta cook like paella)

Personal Rating:
ambiance : 3/5 noisy since the Ladies employee at the Fort are talking too loud.
Taste/ Food : 5/5 The Food are really great
price : 4/5 pricey
clean : 5/5
service : 4/5 almost great but no coordination. When we have already left home they send a text that they will be making a reservation for 7; which before making a reservation have inquire if I can bring a total of 6 people which they refuse citing the 2 person only GC.

Might go back and tried if they have other promo but hope the people running the store all grow up in their thinking especially if some parent want to bring how some food to their kids if they think their children will like it.
