I found this food stall in Shopwise and was intrigued by the fact that they coat baluts and penoys and then deep fry them. I wondered if they would taste good after the process.In fairness, they are really good. Although it tastes a lot like hard-boiled egg, I could still taste the difference in the yolk. I knew it was penoy and I loved it. They put this sweet and sour sauce on top which makes it a lot better. It was just hard to eat standing up using a toothpick as a spoon.Next time I will try the balut.
