baliwag combo

I was walking around the food court and I saw Baliwag so I decided to order a combo meal. It was a great lunch as I did not regret coming here. I love kare kare so I chose it to become my side dish for this combo. The chicken here really goes well with the sauce. It is a good thing they gave me java rice instead of plain rice because it is more suited for this meal so I was lucky for that.

Baliwag Merienda
Smile 2012-12-19

Baliwag merienda, Php 49.00

I was happy to know that Baliwag also serves merienda. The Baliwag merienda set that my mom ordered consists of fresh lumpia and ginataang bilo bilo. Fresh lumpia is my mom's favorite. The peanut sauce taste well with the crunchy bamboo shoots. She also liked the ginataang bilo bilo which you rarely see served in most restaurants nor food court stand.

BALIWAG
Just OK 2012-02-18
BALIWAG LECHON MANOK is a must-try restaurant in EDSA corner J. Vargas Ave., Brgy. Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong City. It is specifically located at the Food Court, Lower Ground Level, Building A of SM Megamall. They have lots of culinary delights to offer. They mostly serve Filipino cuisines. Damage to the budget will usually range from 70.00 pesos to 150.00 pesos and they taste really good. It is already inclusive of a drink. It is definitely worth the price. I will the next time I come back to BALIWAG LECHON MANOK in SM MEGAMALL!

It was such a great experience dining at Baliwag Lechon Manok in Wack-WackFood Court, Lower Ground Level, Bldg.A SM Megamall, EDSA corner J. Vargas Ave., Brgy. Wack-Wack, Mandaluyong Cit. I was with Charlotte when I went there and we enjoyed it a lot. We ordered Pinakbet, fresh lumpia and lechon manok but I liked the lechon manok the most because of its yummylicious sauce together with the fresh lumpia that really balances my diet because of the veggies in it. I highly recommend dining at Baliwag Lechon Manok .

CRAZY FOR BALIWAG
Smile 2011-06-22

Stroll stroll stroll inside SM Megamall? Why not try some offerings at their foodcourt.
One of our favorites is eating at Baliwag. This is not just you ordinary Filipino dishes but yummy ones.

Tried and tested we really came looking for it in every mall we window shop. They serve clean food with good portion. Choice of veggies on the side.

Baliwag Lechon Manok Atbp is a self-service type - meaning you get your own food tray and cutleries to begin with your meal. For some this is hassle but for us who feels so delighted of Filipino dishes it is not a big deal. Eating on the Foodcourt was even more exciting even if there are lots of people and the environment seems too noisy.

For now we didn't try their Roasted Pig, Lechon Manok nor their Liempo which are their best sellers already. What we ordered are their truly affordable combo dishes. Here they are:

Pakbet on the side. My plate.

Sisig to go with the pakbet. Great!

Sisig and Pancit...why not!

Our plateful of Baliwag dishes.
One of our friend ordered for Dinuguan with Pakbet on the side. Ooops this would not be complete without our extra rice which are to die for. Just two extra rice for the 3 of us smile

It was like eating your mom's favorite dish to cook. You can feel you are not away from home due to the lingering flavor these dishes left on our palate. Nothing beats these dishes at truly an inexpensive way to eat- in a Filipino way!

Baliwag's manok
Just OK 2010-10-26
During Sundays, my team mates/ friends would attend mass at Megamall then eat lunch afterwards within the vicinity of the mall. It's fun strolling around, window shopping, while also selecting a place to eat. If it's our salary day, we eat at restos but if it's not, we eat at the food court because we can get the best deal for our money there. And aside from that, there is a wide variety of food choices to choose from.

For that day, I decided to try Baliwag Lechon Manok because I haven't tried it yet. And their offering looked good. I went for the combo meal for P105 consisting of a big chunk of roasted chicken, sisig and rice. I was hungry so I dug in right away. I liked the chicken, especially Baliwag is known for its roasted chicken and their sauce is very good too. The serving of the rice is very big. I just don't like much the sisig because it was very oily. It's supposed to be good because it has the crunchy ear part but I got turned off because again of the oil content. But other than that, I really liked the chicken.

The price is fair, no comment on that. The service of the crew just average. The food all in all was okay too. I'll just try a different combination next time I go there.
