The Banang's way to stomach!

I've heard a lot of interesting reviews about this resto-carinderia. So when we have a chance to pass by in this resto. I couldnt hold off myself not to taste theri siagrilyas with gata, pancit bihin with lechon kawali, and mechado. Indeed, it is a worthwhile trying this resto caridenria. The taste is good, the price is enough for a budgeted lunch.

Just one things I would glad to see in my next visit..Im praying that someday they will have aircondition to enhance the ventilation. Anyway, it is so yummy visiting your shop!!

I will definitely recommend to other foodies to try this resto. I believe they have other branches in MM. Just try to locate it guys. smiletonguesmiletonguesmile

Every Laking San Juan Must Know!
Smile 2012-11-28

If you are born and raised in San Juan City there are some things you should know about. One of those things is Aling's Banang's cooking. Aling Banang is a popular home cooked carinderia by passing Aling Banang's secret recipes to family member, generation by generation.

This morning, I had the chance to pass by their store before going to work. When I saw that they are open, without any thought, I bought my favorite Pancit Bihon. The pancit bihon is really delicious plus I really like the crunchy liempo that serves a stopping with all the veggies that go with it. I can even finish one serving all by myself.

Pork Sisig
Smile 2012-10-19
Aling Banang in N. Domingo St., San Juan City is my favorite place not only because of their good food but also because of their friendly staff and crew. I use to come here with my Father, Momther, Brothers and my friend Ayen and Aling Banang does not fail to satisfy our taste buds. The place was neat and the food were very delicious. I so love their sizzling sissig, tokwa't baboy and their Pancit Guisado which costs around Nine Hundred Pesos (PHP 900) for a group of Twenty to Twenty Five Persons (20-25). I like a dining place that has more to offer than others. Aling Banang in N. Domingo St., San Juan City is definitely topping my list!

Aling Banang is one of my favorite restaurants in N. Domingo St., San Juan City, Metro Manila. I used to come here with my Dad, Kuya Xiao, Mama, Tita Tek and Ayen and it always satisfies my craving/s of Pancit Palabok, Halo halo and their Tapsilog & Other silogs. If you haven’t been to Aling Banang, I recommend you visit and order their Tokwa't Baboy matched with their Pancit Bihon and Pancit Canton or Miki Bihon. Damage to the budget is usually Fifty five pesos only (PHP 55) and definitely worth it! I am looking forward to my next dinner at Aling Banang in N. Domingo St., San Juan City, Metro Manila! lol

BANANG AGAIN
Smile 2011-09-29

Aling Banang Pancit, Palabok Atbp. is such a well-known food establishment in our town. It is a carinderia-style place everybody from all walks of life will not hesitate to come and eat the place's simple offerings.
One night at work, my officemates and I asked one of our crews to buy us SILOG meals. We get tired of the usual food we take in at work. Though our placed orders aren't new to us at all, at least it is paving the way away from our usual diet. Great thing about this carinderia is the all-day availability of their menu. You could just imagine that their SILOG meals are available all day long. Silog choices include the following: Tapsilog, Porksilog, Chicksilog, Bangsilog, Tocilog, Sisigsilog, Balonisilog, Hotsilog, Hamsilog, Malingsilog, Cornedbeefsilog, Longsilog, Lechinsilog and Lechonpaksiwsilog. All of these are priced at a very affordable price of Php55. smile

Here's what we had last night:

The official receipt.

Lomi
Php45 per order. Not my order though.

Tapsilog
Kat's order.

LechonKawaliSilog
This is my personal favorite among the silog variants. I so love the crispness of deep fried pork slices. Same goes true to its sarsa. It is already comparable to eating lechon at an unbeatable price. Softdrinks na lang ang kulang!

Have a happy carinderia eating too folks!

Mag-BANANG tayo!
Smile 2011-07-06

It was past 8pm when hunger struck me. I want to eat something that time that is not rice-based. I had this weird taste-searching-taste buds lately. I gotta supply its demand first before I get dizzy due to empty stomach.

I headed off to Aling Banang which is a very popular carinderia in our town selling Filipino Dishes at a very affordable price. We've got one in our kanto but since I was in N. Domingo St. where another branch is situated I opted ti buy there instead since it is along the way.
I didn't study their menu which I usually do when I am a first-timer at a certain restausant or food stall. I've memorized most of their offerings. They have all kinds of SILOGS. Mapa-tapsi, tuyo, long, tocino et al..thay have it. Not only that. They even have pansits like bihon, mami, sotanghon etc. Even desserts like halo-halo. Their famous is ice cream halo-halo. which next time I'll review about. It is actually my family's favorite and most ordered product aside from pancit.

Their branch along N. Domingo St. at night. It is situated at the car park area of the Tanghalan ng Masa place and fronting Puregold and Agora Market. It has stood the test of time. They even have branch inside the wet market. smile I used to know this place when I was a kid and it was a bit inspiring for me that even up to now no matter how small-scale their business is, they have growing demands and more branches were open already- mostly in San Juan.

The small dining area. They have an extension at the side of car park. Like the ones we see in al fresco dining but far behind sosyal on this one.

Some of the ingredients were made visible for customers viewing pleasure. They are using fresh ingredients and some of the dishes were assembled for the final touch in front of you.

The heart of every food service establishment - the MENU.
There listed most of their offerings which will make your pockets smile due to its affordability.

I ordered Pancit Bihon Guisado at only 40 pesos. Good for sharing already. Very tasty and a lot of veggies and pork. So sulit!. The best partner of this when I got home was coke. Awesome!

Recommended Dish(es):
Pansit Bihon Guisado
