For breakfast, we decided to order from Adobo Connection. It's a fact that Filipinos cook left over dinner meals for breakfast. They fry the rice and just heat up last night's ulam =) I though this was what was in store for me at Adobo Connection but I was pleasantly surprised to see that they offer something else on the menu besides different types of adobo. They have a longganisa combo meal that includes several pieces of longganisa, fried garlic rice and a fried egg. It was...

I love adobo ever since i was a child, that's why i loved eating here at adobo connection because adobo has a deep connection to my childhood. haha i liked the concept they have, offering different kinds of adobo that will suit every taste. it's a fun thing to experiment about, you get to try a wide variation of pinoy's favorite dish. their adobo were very delicious and it comes with an unlimited rice serving perfect partner for the yummy adobo.

I had a great time when i first tried adobo connection and so i tagged along my co worker last time to have a dinner here so she can also try it. this time we ordered a different kind of adobo which is the lola's. this one is very different from kuya's adobo because it has a very oily syrup thing on it. but it was good we both liked it and it has a very distinct taste. i liked the tenderness of the chicken.

I love adobo and even when i was young it's one of my favorite viands we cook in our house. that's why im one of those happy tummy who rejoice when i found out that there's a new fastfood chain that specializes in different kinds of adobo. what made me more happy is that they have a very affordable price range. you can actually eat here everyday. making it more sulit is their unlimited rice offering there's nothing i could wish for.

I wasn't happy on my first visit to Adobo connection because I got the wrong dish so I made up for it this time. I got Meztiso adobo and Gising gising. Both were flavorful and complemented each other. I would get this combination again next time. The flavors are not overwhelming and it's perfect with their iced tea.

Yes, they are the perfect pair, Mama's adobo and poqui poqui. For an affordable authentic Filipino dinner that did not very much deviated from the recipe book of our lolas, we headed to Adobo connection. Mama's adobo is 100 pesos, it's slow cooked chicken in traditional sweet sauce with pepper, garlic and vinegar. It comes with rice and iced tea. Poqui poqui on the other hand is plain eggplant and egg and is for 33 pesos only. Great!

We had a nice lunch out when we tried dining in at Adobo Connection. I saw in TV that there are different kinds of adobo aside from the usual adobo that we are cooking. And today is the very first time that will try it out. I choose adobo sa gata. We have waited for about 20 minutes before the food was served. The serving is quite small and I dont think it will satisfy my hunger. The taste is good but I dont think the price is right for very little serving they have here.

As the big sign says, "Adobo Connection" there specialty is Adobo, but no problem, if you're not a fan of Adobo, they serve other filipino dishes as well. For me when you say, Adobo, its a filipino dish that's brown in color, has a sweet, sour and salty taste to it, almost every Pinoy's favorite, but they do have different combinations of Adobo dishes. AmbianceThe place is pretty small, the restaurant is actually located at the Dela Rosa carpark, just the right pl...
