Papa John’s, reportedly the third largest pizza chain in the world since founder John Schnatter  first established it in 1984,  will be opening its branches in major malls in Metro Manila by the end of the year.  With headquarters in Louisville, Kentucky, Papa John’s International, Inc. currently has 3,500 restaurants in the U.S., Europe, Middle East, and Asia.

Diners in the Philippines can look forward to dining in a warm and welcoming environment. The comprehensive menu will offer Papa John’s signature pizzas like the best-selling “Super Papa’s,” “All the Meats,” and “Pepperoni,” there will also be pasta dishes, baked rice and other signature side items like Cheesesticks and Breadsticks, chicken wings and chicken strips. In addition, Papa John’s pizzas will be served with their signature garlic dipping sauce and pepperoncinis on the side. The menu items will cater to all age groups throughout the day and provide a comprehensive selection for families, friends and co-workers to enjoy.

During the press con at the Shangri-La Hotel Makati on September 6, Myles Felt, Papa John’s Regional Vice President for Asia, India, and the Middle East, revealed that the pizza chain will open 100 stores in the Philippines over the next ten years, or an average of 10 every year. 

For 10 of the past 11 years, consumers have rated Papa John’s No. 1 in customer satisfaction among all national pizza chains in the American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI). Papa John’s was honored by Restaurants & Institutions Magazine (R&I) with the 2009 Gold Award for Consumers’ Choice in Chains in the pizza segment.
