GOOD FOOD AT A REASONABLE PRICE
Smile 2012-09-25
My husband and i arrived in Cebu on the 14 of August, and stayed at the Waterfront Hotel and Casino in Lahug Cebu City. It was already late when we arrived since we had a 3 hours delay in our flight with the flag carrier airline of the Philippines. It was our first time in Cebu, and the restaurants at the hotel where we were staying were already closed, and so, we went out of the Hotel to look for a fast food chain. And we were lucky to see the Port Seafood Restaurant. My husband and i were satisfied with the food we ate, since it was a late dinner. The overall appearance of the restaurant was good, and we were even lucky to listen to the soothing voice of the male acoustic singer. Then we were told by the waiter that the owner was in the restaurant that evening. The owner, who is a popular man not only in Cebu, but to the dancing Afficionado's, is hospitable and kind. So in totality, we had good food in a cute restaurant, with good music, courteous and kind food servers with good management i believe, at a reasonable price. smile

Eat All You Want at the Port
Smile 2011-03-16
Every Saturday, my family always have dinner outside after attending anticipated mass in the city. Since before, we ended up to a particular dining place which we are already used to have dinner, however, this time was different after we resorted to a different restaurant that was new to our taste. So we chose The Port Seafood Restaurant.

This is our first time to eat in this restaurant and of all eat-all-you-can restaurants we have dined in, this is worth the money and tummy. Eat all you can restaurants are sometimes our dining preference when there is a celebration. Located at Waterfront Hotel and Casino, it is somewhat far from our home, though it's worth the travel.

Dinner buffet style with variety of seafoods and meat such as pork sisig, siomai, shanghai, tacos and a lot more were as hot and fresh . Variety of dishes were place on the buffet table which I think almost 25 different dishes. One thing that fascinated was the bone free sizzling bangus which we ate up to the last piece of it. The taste was very good and the environment was very clean. Waiters were very accommodating and they really attend the needs of their customers. They refilled our ice tea at once when they saw it coming almost empty. Nevertheless, our dining experience together with my family was very comfortable.

After then, we headed towards Asia Town IT Park at past 10PM which is just few meters away from the vicinity where we stroll around a bit.

Port, Hinde Fort ;D
Smile 2010-11-03
Let's just say, I've been to Waterfront Hotel in Lahug several times - AdCongress, and The ASEAN Business. But I've never set foot on The Port. I believe it's fate when we rode the jeepney going to Ayala Center, Sandy of Port was seating beside me. I asked her as to where is the best place to be, or dine, in Lahug. Putting emphasis on fresh seafoods. And yes, including those bivalve mollusks called the oysters. I replenished groups of these in Sacramento, as in, no kidding! Anyway back to Sandy, she said in native Tagalog, "dun po sa pinagtatrabauhan ko". I took a good look again at her, and asked her excitedly, "san ka ba nagwo-work?" To which she replied, "sa Port po. Sa may side ng Waterfront." "Meron ba dun, Fort ba dear?" "PORT po, hinde po FORT.";D But then again, we have to take a look as Sandy strikes me as a very decent individual, and unpretentious. And so I asked her if she has a SUN mobile, luckily, or destinedly, she has one and she gave it to me. Then off she alighted the jeepney to report to Port. And so did we, to the Center. As soon as we finished, grocery-shopping, we are now famished, my recollection of The Waterfront Hotel is just near, and so I decided to bring the family there for dinner for Kyle’s birthday. Para maiba naman experience. And I was not disappointed in my decision. The Port is yes, is one of the concessionaires of the hotel, and looks sophisticated. Yun bang aakalain mong mahal? But Lo and Behold! Di naman sya.;D It costs my sister Che, a few thousand bucks, and it’s all worth it. Knowing that it’s Kyle’s birthday, the whole staff on duty presented him a cake and sang for him. Kyle was astonished as seen in the pictures – we’re in Cebu, and yet, they know it’s his birthday. And by the way, the whole place was already profusely speckled with Halloween decorations shocked which brought an added thrill and festive flair to The Port. tongue smile

For a dinner buffet that is really worth its PRICE, THe PORT is one of the FAMOUS Eat-all-U-can restaurant here in CEBU for it serves a wide variety of seafoods. HEre, you can see taste a lot of delightful Asian dishes that would really full one's empty stomach. To add more, its mouth-watering desserts will surely complete one's food tripping experience....

No wonder why a lot of customers keep on coming back to this place......

THe PORT is best recommended for people who love seafoods(pork and other meat are also served here smile), plan to have parties, and just wanna eat.. eat..eat.... tonguesmilelol
