2010-12-15My sister, which is a usual visitor of Cebu, introduced me to a particular restaurant that, according to her, serves one of the best Banoffee Pie she ever tasted. Food lover I was, I can't ignore the offer and eventually gave in.
We proceeded to Banilad which is a famous area for restaurants and food in cebu. We arrived at the Leona's branch and ordered banoffee cake. It was indeed heaven. It was tasty and delicious and not having the over sweet taste of usual dessert cakes. It was a perfect blend of banana and coffee. The presentation itself is something to die for.
I also learned about the vegetable siopao from this particular place. I thought it was not tasty but I was surprised to enjoy it. With added ketchup, the taste, flavor and consistency of the siopao is something very very good. Tasty and delicious, that is Leona's!
