This was our first visit to Cebu and of course we had to taste one of their most famous dishes, Lechon!
Since we were already in the mall, we decided to ask around where we could find and taste it. Even though my partner is not really a pork person, I was able to make her taste it! And she found it quite delicious. It was very tasty and soft, unlike other typical lechons in the metro where the meat is a bit difficult to chew. The staff were very nice and they even recommended us to taste the Cebu sticky rice wrapped in grass leaves, known as Puso. What made this memorable was that they did not give us utensils to eat, instead they provided us with plastics to cover our hands with! Hahaha! Definitely memorable and fun!
Too bad this Lechon place can only be found in Cebu. You have to taste it to understand why. When I entered Medical School, I told myself I would never eat lechon again but this place called CnT made me change my mind. Their lechon is remarkably crispy and flavorsome. Just make sure you slow down on the fats. It's too hard to resist because it's one of the best I've tasted.
